Very frequent crashes

I have got a huge problem with crashes. The situation in which they happen in 100% of the cases is when I am in one location, but try to load a save that was made in another location. Not even once it managed to load that way. If I load it from the main menu after restarting the game, it's fine.

Other crashes happen very often when I change location, enter or exit buldings etc, especially in Bravil and at the exit from the tunnel into the Waterfront near the Imperial City.

Also, more times I load the game while playing, more frequent the crashes become. If I manage to play for a while without reloading, then it doesn't crash for about 20-30 minutes, but then it crashes again inevitably, usually in places where locations change.

The order is determined by BOSS, except for Origins of Mages Guild that needs to be kept at the bottom of the list, otherwise the game won't load at all, and the Imperial City files, that have to be kept even lower, to avoid visual conflicts with OMG. Also, I put UL Lost Coast and Lush Woodlands before VHSBloodlines, as was suggested by the VHSBloodlines instructions. And I moved the Unofficial Patch closer to the Esm master files, as was suggested by other instructions I read.

Could somebody help, and I apologize if there have already been other threads like this, it's just that no method I read elsewhere seems to work. I tried Streamline, cleaned all mods that BOSS indicated as containing dirty edits (I didn't clean those that stated that dirty edits are necessary for the mod to work).

Well, though I'm not saying it's down to that, I notice you haven't got the unofficial DLC patches installed, never know, might help and they'e a good idea anyway. Also, is there a reason you aren't building a Bash Patch - it would reduce the number of esps you're throwing at the game, again might help...

If you can easily replicate the crashes, you could try and pin it down by doing a binary split, that is deactivate half the mods and see if it persists. If it doesn't, then reactivate those ones, deactivate the other half. If it does, then deactivate half the remainder etc etc, rinse and repeat. It doesn't take as long as it sounds.

Finally, Oblivion Stutter Remover is a far better game stabiliser than Streamline, in my experience anyway.

The mods BOSS places after the bashed patch are not really supposed to be there. Even BOSS will tell you to reorder those by hand. Put your bashed patch last. Make sure you rebuild it after every load order change.

More importantly, though, I doubt that Elder Council, Origin of the Mage's Guild are going to play nice with OOO and Integration. Ever.

I tried to use a bashed patch, but it doesn't seem to help, also it refuses to inglobate some mods, like cobl and some others. By the way, should I deactivate all the mods after activating the bashed patch or should they both be activated?

Sounds like you don't understand the bashed patch very well. I suggest reading through the documentation.

That said, I doubt the bashed patch or lack of it is causing crashes. The unordered mods at the end of your list could be contributing to crashes. So could the Elder Council and Mage's Guild mods,

Scribe supplies, use one or the other, and you need the original resources and BC's replacer. I have no idea what you would be seeing without a bash patch, but the readme for that says problems are a given if both mods are used. OMG and Blackwood both have small reps for instability. I feel that since you need special handling for OMG, right there you can suspect problems.

If you did anything to the oblivion ini you can try regenerating that, also streamline's ini, you may want to look at that and turn off autosaves but use the hotkey instead. Also be sure you noted this:

set SLv.WeatherUnsticker to 0 ; Leave set at 1 unless you use a scripted weather mod

Otherwise, I think your mods list needs deconstruction and much patient testing, I would try a char with OOO, XUL and BC and see if those ctd badly

Look at Windows and stuff too, sound, i dunno

Sorry, of course there is the Better Cities.esp after DLC Shivering Isles, I accidentally edited it out when I was posting, I just put it back there. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions, I will try deactivating some mods to see if they were responsible. But it's really a pity OMG and Elder Council don't work well with OOO. I read the biggest problem is the chest near Traven's bed that respanwns in OOO but doesn't in OMG.
