Fallout 4 may not win a ton of game of the year awards, but people sure do love it. I thinks that's especially impressive considering the game was only for sale for a month and a half of 2015.

Riot Armor is way cool and has actually turned out to be quite iconic. Seriously, you see the image a lot, even if this particular one is photoshopped /ENB modded to high hell. It's still pretty cool stuff.

Makes one wonder why there is are no sets...at all...in FO4. Probably one of those square pegs that wouldn't fit into the round hole of the "modding" system forced upon us. Or, more than likely, it was a New Vegas "thing" and hence must be treated like it doesn't exist.

Here's hoping! I can wait though. Lovin' F4!

I think it is more from a lore perspective. Wouldn't make sense to put a suit of Riot armor on the east coast, when they were made specifically for the riot control officers in the Divide on the west coast, and is a further development on the LAPD riot armor.

However, I could see a single set placed somewhere, brought by some trade caravan, or brought there by some person moving from west to east coast. Anyways, there will probably come a set by modding, if anything else.

My immersion breaks when I hear Idiot Savont go off in my ear.

Yeah, you'd think they'd throw in cool easter eggs like that...Riot Armor, a Marksman Carbine, an antimateriel rifle, a reloading bench, maybe a little C4. Why they avoid really cool stuff, outside of Power armor and energy weapons, still eludes me.

I think it's more about vision and artistic approach than lore in all honesty, since lore can bend to the developers wishes as they see fit. But, I think they do clearly want to keep east and west separate in terms of equipment, with the exception of energy weapons and power armor. Too bad there though, since the stuff from out west is way cooler if you're not into playing the prototypical PA wearing-energy weapon user Bethesda obviously prefers. God knows, Boston and the east could desperately use a Gunrunners caravan every now and then.

Hopefully there will be more "West" in the future and then we can see if the lore theory holds.

Back on topic: still a very active game, and I think definitely one for the record books in sales for an RPG genre game.

Love the Advanced Riot Armor! That alone made the trip into the Divide worth while! But yea, I think Fallout 4 is more about power armor, so they should have used a picture of the T-60

I've heard that in december Fallout 4 sales on steam were better than GTA5 !

Bethesda allways surprise me since TES4 Oblivion with quality graphics and gameplay.

I spoke with an employee at Gamestop who said Bethesda prevents them from giving out numbers, but she was confident enough to say this is the best selling game of all time based on previous releases.

I took this to mean from Gamestop's point of view, so if we tally those numbers with other retailers, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this is the best selling game of all time.

We'll never know as Bethesda won't say (or confirm), and that's also refreshing because by keeping the number of sales out of the discussion, it keeps it about the game, not the money.

If you want but it's a fools bet because FO4 pretty much lost all of them thus far.

it will eventually come out, always does. But wouldn't surprise me if it became best selling ever. Heck, it wasn't just amazons best selling game, that was just the PS4 version. It was also the 3rd best selling as the Xbox version. 2 of the top 3 spots belonged to FO4

If we did not have that settlement stuffs, I doubt I have played this game so much, therefor I hope Bethesda will add something to this feature

To be fair this is actually the first fallout game in the entire franchise that I actually use laser weapons and power armor because both feel so good to use. Like, I've played 1, 2, tactics, 3 and New Vegas and I HATED using energy weapons because they felt so bleh but FO4 makes them fun somehow.
