Recently the save file load has become slow, in the order of minutes. When I checked my save file size, it was 18mb!

Is it normal??

I tried to find a solution, but I dont find anything... Can someone help me, please?

I know that in Oblivion, a long cell reset time would cause a save game to become large.
How long is your cell respawn time?

Also do you save over the same save each time? Try saving into a different slot, then deleting the first one, and see if the one you just created is as big. Perhaps when you overwrite the old saves it doesnt properly delete the old one first.

There is a program for Morrowind that lets you edit your save files, removing references etc. Sometimes I wish it had been ported to Oblivion and Fallout 3.
