whether it is possible to replace the videocard on my laptop with the most modern?
That graphics card is soldered onto your motherboard, it can't be removed and replaced, it is not designed to be removable.
Are you **** serious?
In that case, you'll just have to get a new laptop altogether.
To the person who made this thread, buy this: http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=dkcwgn4h&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&model_id=alienware-m17x-r4
It comes with Windows 8 64-bit, too, so your OS will be upgraded as well.
How did you not figure that? You think they fit a 12 cm card into a laptop? All laptop cards are soldiered to the motherboard.
