Trying to load a bad form in TES3File::NextForm.

File = Wolli_island.esp

Offset = 96514

ignore the boring name, cause it's useless, but this is the second time i've had this, the first time half my island was blown away, this time IT'S ALL GONE! can some one please help before explode from depression?

Sounds like a corrupt save , in which case you will need to go back to the last save that isn't corrupted. If you have been overwriting the same save and do not have earlier saves to fall back on then you will probably need to start again.

TES3File::NextForm errors mean that the physical structure of the records in your plugin has been damaged. I've only seen these happen rarely, but it could be due to problems outside of MW/CS, like bad disk or memory, so it wouldn't hurt to check your disk and memory.

If you want to try to recover your data, http://code.google.com/p/mlox/wiki/Tes3cmd#recover_-_Recover_usable_records_from_plugin_with_%27bad_form might be able to remove just the corrupted parts. But your best bet is to use your latest backup. If you aren't aware already, the CS automatically makes a backup of the plugin you are working on, called "pukcab.bak" in your "Data Files" directory, so you can check that too, if it's still there and you haven't done more edits since.

cool, i'll ask some of my computer savy friends how to "check my disk and memory" :P but my backups only a day old so it's fine, seeing as i didn't do anything after making the backup (well, added a fence)

Just get a free Registry Cleaner online. Most people should but dont have one running.

I had heaps of problems on my older comp that i run morrowind on, but an evening of memory cleansing fixed everything.

John meant physical memory as in the hard disk and memory modules and I agree it seems more likely than a software issue.

If that's the last mod you were working on, try next (it saved my ass as well). Search for puckab file among plugin files in data files directory, and rename it to backup-or-something.esp and that will change it to plugin file and it contains last stable version of what you were working on.

Hope this'll work for you.

John meant going and running a chkdsk on the harddrive to check for memory errors and such. If some are found, its likely a case of the hard drive going bad, although repairs will be attempted.

btw, i might upload this plugin seeing as it's broken and john says they're rare, perhaps people can look through it and figure out the problems?

I think the problem is long gone. In all likelihood the corrupted plugin is only a side-effect of some bug or defect, so it's very unlikely to give clues to the source of the problem.

You could try to recover the good records from the damaged plugin, though, if you wanted to do that.

I can take a look at it for you. Can't promise anything. Maybe upload it to sendspace.com or something and post the link.

Some of these names sound perfect for some new morrowind diseases. Get yourself a few cure disease potions or you might have to deal with a case of pukcab or Mlox...
