This is the first time I've tried scripting, anyway, I want custom effects for custom ingredients/potions. And when I say effects I mean Image Space Modifiers.

I've created an item which when consumed, has to play the effect (something like Sleeping Tree Sap and Redwater Skooma). I've also created the custom Image Space Modifier and Magic Effect.

The last step I have to take is connecting the Image Space Modifier with the Magic Effect using a script ... and I have no clue. I've tried but thought it would be better if I get some professional help... Thanks !

You can add your image space directly to the magic effect in the Image Space Mod box (bottom of visual effects).

Then just Add the vanilla scripts - magicimodbeginloopend and magicImodscript - in the Papyrus scripts box.

Open the Properties of the magicImodscript and change IntroFX, OutroFX, StaticFX values to be your IMOD.

I've done what you said, step by step, nothing happens when I consume the item in game ... Anything else you can think of? Maybe you forgot to mention something ... thank you for your time!

I'll look back on my Felldew mod but that was basically what I did.

Are you getting the magic effects just minus the IMOD effect?

Yep. The ingredient has my custom Drugged effect and Slow effect, once eaten, it says "Slow effect discovered." (I'm using it on ingredient item instead of potion item,but it worked with vanilla Drugged)

(The IMOD doesn't appear.)
