Well, speculation wise, if they do announce it this year, it'll probably release late next year. If they don't, release is probably 2015. I could see either happening. Hard to see it going 2016 or later.

Though maybe they should, given that they'll most probably release it for the next generation consoles. We all know what happened to Oblivion, that was developed mostly before the previous consoles were released

October 2014 is where all "predictions" point too, considering Beth's history of releasing Fallout/TES. They usually announce their next big hit a year away at most. October would be a 10 month period.

Looks to me that he is just an excited fan and is sharing his excitement don't see why he'd be aloud to tease if he had information from Bethesda as surely they would be very cautious about all of this?

My thoughts exactly.

Given that he already has been featured in a Bethesda title, no one should be surprised if he is once again seen in Fallout 4 (especially since he once said that there may be more of the Dog in the future). So if this is true, he has inside info anyways. And he did not outright state that it's being released, it's just another hint.

He may have some inside info about stuff pertaining to his role but I'm not sure why Beth would tell him about the announcement but anyway even if he does know would he even be allowed to say or would bethesda really think this was a good way to go about teasing Fallout 4?

It's not an official announcement and besides, he only has around 200+ followers on twitter. I doubt anyone took much notice to his individual to begin with. Bethesda shouldn't be too concerned.

To be fair that tweet has now been posted on the official fallout forums so there is interest.

I still think they need to release a FO4 US territory and a FO Australia or EU at the same time, and really take the world. A console release of FO 1/2 updated wouldn't be a bad strategy either.

If you search around under the IGN comment sections and Reddit, there is also https://twitter.com/12072299 twitter account that links itself with survivor2299.com that was made a day ago. People have been trying to "hack" it. The last update was made minutes ago.

Base on some of the contents in it (especially one https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BZNObjsCEAAVjXC.jpg:large)... if this is account is legit (And I really hope it is), then gentlemen... It is time.

Meh I'm not completely convinced the website itself is legit, anything registered after the website, like this Twitter account and a Tumblr account started yesterday will most likely be hoaxers jumping on the bandwagon. Beth wouldn't be so revealing as to post pictures confirming FO4, including images of Vault Boy and everything.

This has probably been suggested, but it sounds like The Survivor could be the name of the PC, in a similar manner to The Courier or The Vault Dweller, and 2299 could be the year it is set? They both sound fairly plausible.

My guess is that ELLA DEUX (ELLA II) is the name of the Vault-Tec supercomputer that created by saluaging the research labs then is put to used in the Institute.

bridgeport... As in Bridgeport, Connecticut? So maybe the https://twitter.com/12072299 that people was condemning as hoax does hold some merit, afterall, since there is no way for that twitter account holder, whoever he is, to stumbled upon that detail.

So if the twitter account is fake, then the website is also fake. If the website is real, then the account must be real as well. Or one is fake and the other one is real, and Beth is playing a double bluff.
