And I've never even watched or cared about the VGAs until Skyrim. Ultimately I put little stock in awards, because I prefer to decide what the best game I've played every year is for myself.
But what the heck. This year was different because of Skyrim. Good job, Bethesda. Congratulations, and I wish you success in continuing to bring us the amazing games that many of us love.
Well that's a non-biased approach. "The award doesn't matter unless they award GOTY to the game I want."
Ew. Anyways, I don't think Spike TV giving Skyrim game of the year means it is GOTY. It may be game of the year, but Spike TV... lolololol.
Lol. I was just interested to see if Skyrim would win it. Given that 14,823 media outlets award a GOTY, I agree that it's fairly inconsequential. Again, what the heck. It was fun to watch. Am I wrong to be happy that something I like won a frivolous award? I don't think so. But I accept and welcome everyone's opinion. :foodndrink:
Now pardon me, I have to attend an awards ceremony for myself. I was named Skyrim Player of the Year by a committee of expert judges including me, my pet cat, and my not-so-bright next-door neighbor.
