[Relz] Vibliribland's Epic Dungeons

Post » Sun Aug 29, 2010 8:00 am

My "new" mod, The Dragon Citadel have been out for a while now, and I tought I'd give it a new push so more people can enjoy the feeling of making it trough an Epic dungeon of mine.

I've also uppdated all the mods, which is the real reason Im re-releasing them, Nothing huge, just a balance change.

I hope everyone who long for a challanging adventure downloads it and enjoys it. Since thats the reason I made it in the first place. Screenshots can be found bellow. Under the download links are links to Screenshots. Hope you have a good time.

I managed to fix those nasty buggs found in the Dragon Citadell mod with some help from Sarkandar. Now it's hopefully a bugfree Epic andventure =)

Hello there - sorry, I am playing the game still, although not quite as often, and I have started a new game with OOO, meaning my latest character, a Battle Mage, is no where near strong enough to tackle any of your lovely mods.

The reason the screens are down at the moment, is that SO many people where visiting my Oblivion webpages that they helped take down the sight by gobbling up the bandwidth. I already get a stack of people checking out all the Everquest Pages I wrote as Bodi, and with the Oblivion Mod pages, my monthly 1.5Gb was gone. I will add them back though in a few minutes or so.

Vib, if you find them down again, it should be a temp thing, so just send another PM and I will put them back.

Glad to hear you are working on a new one, they are just so good!

I didn't know of these, but they seem awesome. I'm about to start a new character so I doubt I'll be able to
complete them anytime soon, but I guess the knowledge of the treasures awaiting me will keep me going. :)

Could you provide a conflict report or readme -- sorry if I'm missing something -- it's just that I use several other mods which add to the landscape, like house mods, OOO, knights of the white stallion, etc, and I'm wondering if they'll perhaps conflict with the location of your cool-looking dungeons' entrances. Thanks!

Yes, I would also like to know if it conflicts with triple-O.

[The Tower of the Lich King 2.5.esp] (Part of The Tower of the Lich King 2.5) - Active

Cool. Okay, how about game balance? Do these dungeons provide any loot/gear that unbalances the dificulty of OOO? (I don't want to find a sword fit for a lvl. 40 character at lvl. 10, for instance)

These dungeons look so awesome! Thanks !

All my dungeonas are compatible with OOO and white stalion mods. Only minor?insignificant conflicts which have no rfeal impact.

About the balance: You shouldn't be worried about your level 10 characters walking around with lvl 40 gear, Since I would be impressed if you would even kill one of the mobs in for example The Dragon citadell at level 10 =).

The items in the dungeons on the other hand are the best and most powerfull ones in the game, Which however won't be a problem since if you can manage to get ahold of any of the top tier items you can probably kill any monster in the vanilla world unarmed and unprotected with ease. So expect to become slightly overpowerd VS the vanilla world in full Ragnarok armor set for example, but don't expect Sarlatz the Wingless to be an easy fight even with the top gear.

Have a great day everyone, and don't hesitate to ask questions about the mods =P

I notice that you just offer the esp for your mod with no readme. A readme really is a nice thing to have I think

Readme files is possibly a thing I would add in the future. However thats the reason I have such detailed mod descriptions on the tessource.com

But you never know =)

I'm not much for posting but I wanted to drop in this thread and say thank you Vibliribland for filling a big gap in available mods.

Lots of mods out there with balance changes, graphic overhauls and what not, but practically no one doing *quality* dungeon mods.

Thank you for your efforts!

Glad I noticed you updated b4 getting outta prison :) Needless to say I have not ventured to any of the sites yet.

Reading Chuddley Futtocks site these sound and look stellar. I had downloaded couple of them, browsing for content additions..now have the whole set.

just a quick question, will merging these into one esp cause any problems?

Great mods, I have played the first four just fine.

But with Dragon Citadel, I could not get the guy to bring up the topic about the quest. Frustrating...

I'm going to try out some of your mods...sounds pretty cool :)

I'd just like to bring to your attention though, the TES download page for BRM appears to be broken, and wouldn't give me the link to d/l the mod...
I had to work around this problem by copying and pasting a download link for another mod into my browser, then replacing the mod ID number at the end with '4489'...just thought I'd put this up just in case anyone else runs into this same problem...

Slipperman: I had the same issue and had to do the same work-around :)

That said: downloaded. My level 31 character should be able to do this, I hope :)

Looks like fun.

Just a thought, since I noticed that there are no texture/mesh folders (and it isn't anything I'm thinking, "OH NOES, MUST NOT PLAYZERS!" by any stretch) but, have you ever approached anyone about getting, maybe not even new meshes, just new textures for the armors you have in it?

Just a thought, on something that might be interesting. Even if it's a slight change (note: if I had Blender, or knew how to USE blender, I'd supply my services, but, well, yeah. See those two problems above :)) to the color, it'd probably be pretty wicked.

That said: I'll try to remember to respond when I actually play one of them. Maybe I"ll play it now...

MK, Do you have a for example Francesco's mods installed? Specificly the one that has to do with Quests?

I found my game was crashing whenever I got in contact with and quest areas with that part of his mod installed. At least with that part installed onto a already ongoing savefile.

If not I have no idea =(.

And about the conversation problem, A few people have reported trouble with it, but it works fine for most, including me so I don't really know how to solve it since it works fine for me oO =), It confuses me allot.

No idea what will happen if you merge them into a single file, Nothing I asume, I think you can possibly merge any mods that don't conflict without any trouble.

About new textures and such, In my Goblin City mod I use Chiz's. Town cermonial armor sets, wich are re-textures of original armors. So like the mod description says, you need Chiz's mod also installed for that mod to work correctly.
To sum up, I allready have some unique armors in my mods =).

Have a great night everyone.

Oh and P.s the download problem with Blackrock mountain, I had a look and it's acommon problem on Tesource's behalf, It gets like that every now and then but they fix it within 2 days. They are quite handy over there =).

Cool, wasn't sure.

One issue, with the Tower of the Lich King (which I just beat but, courtesy of this bug, I'm going to revert to a pre-TLK save)- I'm level 32, still ain't beat the main quest, and when I get the armor piece from the LK, I get a "Quest Completed" journal, saying that Ocato has finished making my Imperial Dragon armor. :-/

Agreed.

As for the OP i've never seen these before. I'm going to try around two of them out and if I like them which by looking at the screenshots I bet I will, i'll grab the other ones to.
