Heya guys, I ran into that creepy victor again at the trainstation in boulder city. The third random encounter with this robot so I decided to follow him when he took off into the wasteland. I followed him to the lakeside area that is just over the hills in front of the train station. It's swarming with lairlurks? they look like Mirelurk king's to me. Anyways I killed the first ones at the boat area but then I followed victor on the road towards camp golf and there I saw how he got butchered by those creatures from a distance!!!! So now I'm wondering is this a big deal? Does he respawn automatically? I noticed he was also gone in Novac. So I was wondering if it's a realy big deal that he's dead now or not? I don't want to hear any spoilers or whatsoever but I wonder if he just re-appears in new vegas [which was where I was heading to]?

He is supposed to appear in New Vegas to initiate a quest line... or, at least, to tell you how to initiate a quest line. I don't know whether his presence is necessary, though.

I reloaded the game and managed to save him...but now he drives off into the water and gets stuck...man this robot is weird...

He respawns.... i think.

It doesn't matter anyway, his only role is the elevator operator.
