I sometimes think that building exteriors in interiors is easier than using exterior cells. You lose seamless cell transitions (and therefore have to come up with other connectors), but height differences and detailed slopes are much easier to realise. Also, with the right meshes you can make a path or road go in any direction, at any angle.

I think the major reason about why use "exterior in interior cell" but not "real exterior cell" are:

less conflict with other mod
2
get the effect that real exterior cell cann't get.
3
cann't find a place in original game to suit what I want to make.

what real exterior cell can get, but exterior in interior cell cann't

by mge people can see very far landscape.

with script modder can get better AI effect like guard patrol from south gate to north gate because they all in one cell.

a cave without "loading door" and lead into deep under the land surface.

other worldspace by useing skybox mesh.

resource for building exterior in interoir cell is lack. such as landscape mesh and big rock mesh and ground mesh resource.

the resources in this mod looks like an updated version about the "shannon's forest tileset v2", is there a "v3" released? looks much detailed and less flat than V2. with retexture, it may suit dezert, forest, snowy forest envirment.

Hi Sphinx,

We mostly use Vurt's and Gutekfiutek's trees (both used with permission). We're still tweaking Gutekfiutek's, which were originally made for Mount & Blade - sometimes the PC gets stuck in the branches.
