What mechanics did he call out?
Cutscenes and narrative plots. He was staring at Todd and Keighley the whole time he was bashing them but then svcked up to Ken Levine who implemented those mechanics the most into his game, Bioshock. The man hardly made any sense. He just rants on about how video games try to be movies too hard but his baby, God of War, had so many cutscenes in between battles it was rediculous. One of the reasons I never played it actually. I say he's a hypocrite. Pretty much whenever he had something good to say, he'd turn to Ken and whenever he had something bad to say, he'd turn to Todd. When Todd reluctantly decided to join in on the conversation, the Twisted Metal guy kept condemning his examples of entertaining cutscenes, saying that there was a difference between watching someone else play and playing yourself.
