Just a tip, turn off interlacing when you render your videos, gets rid of that blurry look when you turn around in the game.

First I allrdy do, 2nd its called radial blur. Its a graphics option. lol thx for the tip tho, had interlacing off since I started. Took me a good 4-6 uploads to figure it out lol ;)

I can only spot a difference between LOW and ULTRA.
LOW looks like a Wii game,ULTRA looks like Oblivion.

as I state in the video. this is because of the fact they use draw distance it seems. like changing from low to high does effect lighting and shadows but the textures quality stays about the same. what you do get is decent textures and animation at really long distances on ultra.

also keep in mind its encoded so alot of the true detail is gone. until isp's upload speeds and youtube support uncompressed video, youtube quality will never match the actual image

Agreed - the huge gain on Ultra over Low is the draw distance, not the textures themselves. Increasing draw distance can have one of the biggest impacts on immersion.

Should the radial blur be on when the settings are on Low? If that's really not interlacing I'm setting the game to ultra and turning that off cause it looks like [censored]. Nice comparison vid though.

Still waiting on my game to arrive :ahhh:
