Videos during update installation

Post » Fri Mar 18, 2016 1:14 am

Just this morning I began downloading the 1.4 update for the game. I've reached the point in the download process where I can begin installation, however its moving extremely slowly, and the game is constantly streaming videos during the installation process. The installation has proven to be quite time consuming and the videos, while initially entertaining, having become quite annoying, and may be affecting my internet bandwidth. Is there anyway to disable the videos while the game goes through the installation process?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Wait, are you just sitting at the title screen waiting for the update to download? You must be on PC, correct? Otherwise I'd just say go watch Youtube or something while the update downloads, lol. Also, aren't those just the special videos it plays when you're idle at the title screen? Aren't those on the disk? Like any other game that has an idle animation play at a title screen, or starts doing a game demo?
