Vigor Tester help

Post » Fri Aug 05, 2011 2:56 am

I'm trying to make a Energy weapon, and Explosive character that can carry a lot of stuff, and have a lot of hp.I would like to keep most things on the Vigor Tester at 5 or above. Any tips? The three main things I want to increase are Strength, Perception, and Endurance. Maybe intelligence too if it gives me more skill points. Can anyone help?

If money is no issue, you can always boost the SPECIAL you want, an keep the ones you dont at 5, then buy implants, or use intense training to boost your SPECIAL.

Drop Charisma. to me it is nearly pointless... There is no perks that are worth it associating with Charisma.

with Explosives and Energy weapons, Perception is what your going to aim for.

St: 7
Pe: 6
En: 6
Ch: 1
In: 5+(add any left over points into this)
Ag:5
Lu: 6

Traits:
Four Eyes

What is intense training, and will bringing my charisma down to 1 hurt anything?

No dropping Charisma to 1 wont do anything harmful

Intense Training is a perk you get at level 2. It will raise 1 point of your choice to your special.

Won't the people following me, such as Boone or Veronica be really weak?

Intense training is pretty lame; it negates the value of the entire attribute system in FO3/NV... What it does is give you a free point in any attribute just for leveling up and choosing it as a perk. :(

As for low charisma hurting... yes it affects things.
