I did it but i lost my hh weapons and owd weapons but kept dead money weps, i saved before just in case this happeneds can anyone correct on what i did wrond

Sorry kinda hard to type on ipad, i need help with the vikki and vance glitch for some reason i lost my honesthearts weapons and old world blue weapons but kept deadmoney weapons, the glitch worked but i lost those guns its also know says i never did the quest for it

Looking at your other post, you say you deleted the update. Did you delete the HH & OWB addon files too? If you did, all their specific gear will have dissapeared and your quests will have reset.

The Vikki and Vance glitch is probably not the best glitch to use for caps if you have already installed and completed the other DLC packs because you have to uninstall the latest patches for it to work. I'm guessing the gear you lost is dependent on the most recent patch. Really though you don't really need more than 32767 caps because the merchants start glitching when their caps is over that amount and stop paying you out on stuff you sell to them.

You can just use the glitch with the buying and selling back 2 or more objects of different states of repair/value. It works best with 1 object say a brush gun with 0 repair/value (unusable) and about 6 or more brush guns with full or close to fully repaired. I find that it works best and glitches the least when you fully repair a set of 6 or more then just 1 of the same round each so they are not exactly at 100%, but they all have the same repair and they stay in the same group/stack.

Then just sell all of them and buy back only the 0 value gun. You should get back the entire set an no cost and you could sell or trade it back to the merchant for more caps or whatever gear is in their inventory then lather, rinse and repeat.

Just keep an eye on the merchant caps and make sure it doesn't go over 32767 or else you won't get any caps back from that merchants for the items you sell to that merchant.
