I have checked that he has better stats and skills, more health, stamina and almost perfect Archery.

But I still like the Erik better because I would leaves him and Farkas to be in charge of the Companion.

And I like Erik's display when wearing the Dragon Skin because I wears Heavy Armor.

Use Console Command to type "getav" to check their stats and skills.

e.g. getav health, getav twohanded, getav heavyarmor, getav marksman and whatever you want.

Yeah, if you have Amazing Follower Tweaks installed you can view their stats and I was surprised at his 2handed skill level even for the fact he is a master trainer, but almost a master marksman as well? I didn't know that.
