I haven't been following V13 as much as I should have, as I've always loved the fallout series. The moment I heard there was going to be an online fallout I shit myself.
One thing that concerns me though, is that V13 will be censored and made "Politically correct" for kids.
A lot of online games and MMO's are made safe and friendly to stupid ass kids, as not to "offend". But the whole feel to fallout was perfect, it was gritty, dark and depressing. Of course people will swear, there will be prosttutes, slaves and terrible stuff of that nature. And this gave it a realistic touch.

If it's got no violence, filth and perversion, then it wont feel like the original fallout.
So is there any word on this yet?

well it has to, it wouldn't be fallout without all of that, and besides the mmo world does indeed have room for M rated titles i can think of 2 off hand one i played (cause it was free) and another that i haven't and the other one is like a fallout mmo and its gritty as hell AND its doing well. Besides when was the last time you played any rpg from gamesas that didn't have grit.

Project V13 is being made to appeal to the early-teens console-kid Fallout fans which came in with Bethesda's cash cow; Fallout 3. Because it will make more money than an isometric MMORPG that the fans of the original Fallout games would prefer.

Also why kids were immortal in Fallout 3, because it's "too violent".

Are you blind? Every game nowadays is rated M and 18+, and I don't see gamesas making profit from an AO rated game, so they're going to tone down the things that make it Fallout and it will turn out like Failout 3.

You are right but just a little.Most of the game 18 + tend to be so called more "real" games and sandbox ,so yeah the 90 % of rated M + svck balls because they have blood and tiks but they have a big problem ( THEY HAVE A BIG SHIT)instead of a great game.Atm i play Fallen earth and is 17 + ,is not big deal ,no much blood and no tiks to cut or kids to maim but the game really rocks ,levels ,tons of quests ,grind is fun ,economy is good and of course they got auctions houses,pvp is there and skills are for everyone who want to put in it.A great success and the game got 4 months only.I have in mind that gamesas will make a real and enjoyable game full with blood and tiks ,after all they were the first who put this in the market

seriously? AOC was rated m and i thought the violence level was great especially compared to the uber saturday cartoon that is WOW ,maybe a lil disembalment or cutting people in half(like in rise of the argonauts which is an ok console game) would be a sweet plus,u need need nudity to make a great rate m game,that's why the majority of all horror movies are full of epic fail compared to their older counterparts b/c they're more considered w/ makin it a violent pormo rather than an awesome product(Dog Soldiers is a great example of a movie that can be great without nudity) and back on subject, fallout 2 was rated m and there was no nudity as far as i remember and it was a great game,gore wasnt that high compared to today's standards but it was still awesome

It's an online game so this violence filth and perversion will be on each step...I tried out some online games like that dirt from Foline....where you don't die but stay unconscious...so the guy shot me down and raqed me for 2 hours...the raping was verbose...stupid copy of a game and idea...anyway I will write a topic about this online games... Its better to live 3 days as a Lion, then spend the rest of your life as a hyena!
