I have almost completed the mission where I had retrieved Virgil's serum from the institute and returned it to him. He duly injected himself with said serum and told me it should take about a week to tell if it was having any effect and to come back after that. All well and good.
Meanwhile I have been working my way through the BOS storyline. I had just completed Blind Betrayal (much weeping and lamentation) and gone back to the Prydwyn to report. There I was directed to Captain Kells for my next missions, one of which (The Loose Thread) was to kill Virgil. I accepted the mission and that is where all the trouble began. Now when I speak to anyone, and I mean everyone, the only thing that my character can say is "Virgil, I've been sent to kill you) or words to that effect. So now I cannot interact with anyone else in the game because all my character can say is this one sentence. I do not want to go back and see Virgil at this time and want continue other storylines. Can anyone please explain what's going on and how to fix it as I can't continue the game until this is fixed.
