Re-Visit Solstheim?

Would you want to re-visit Solstheim as a dlc or even as part of the game?

I would prefer it if we didn't. A key component of Elder Scrolls games is exploring and it wouldn't feel like i was exploring if i was revisiting somewhere I'd been before. Plus I was never particularly fond of Solstheim.

yes, but only if it has changed drastically since the events of the infernal city
if it's just cut and pasted from morrowind, I think we can do without it

already been there once, move on to something new, its just the fact that I know the terrain so well there, it would get very boring

It would be nice seeing as how it's changed so much since Morrowind.

Yes, I'm sure it has changed a lot since we've seen it, as that was even before oblivion.

I would definitely love to see Solstheim again. I liked it back in Bloodmoon and would surely enjoy the chance to see how it has changed snce then. Wasn't it technically a part of Skyrim anyway?

Then again, it would be an aweful lot like the rest of the game world. The main attraction would be seeing all of the Dunmer refugees. Maybe Raven Rock got resettled simply due to the large number of them? I doubt Fort Frostmoth and the immediate surroundings would be enough. I don't know, maybe even Thirsk and the Skaal are having an issue with them. Maybe Solstheim has become one giant Dunmer refugee tent metropolis. That would be... interesting.

Would be pretty cool IMO.

I didn't actually get around to it in Morrowind, should probably do that sometime soon.

No. Solstheim was one of my favourite places in Morrowind, it had a great atmosphere and prove that a fantasy world dosn't need to be strange and exotic in order to be interesting but i would really rather visit places i haven't been before.

Please. It would be awesome to revisit my favorite part of Morrowind. (We would get to see what the Dunmer are up to, too).

I'd love to revisit the frozen island, especially since now there's bound be a lot of havok going on with the Dunmer moving into the most Nordic territory I've seen thus far. I mean, the Skaal can't be too happy about it can they? :P

If isn't available even through DLC, I'll mod it in myself if I have to.

Yes, I would absolutely love to revisit Solstheim.

If the blurb in the review copies of The Infernal City is to be believed, Skyrim could take place up to and including 200 years after Oblivion. To the people who say, "Been there, done that." I say this, A lot will have changed in that time, it would essentially be like a brand new place. For instance, imagine how Skall Village and Raven Rock would have been build up over the years into large Oblivion-esque cities. And that's just one example.

I can't be certain - none of us can be really - but I believe that Skyrim is just a wee bit closer on Oblivion's heels than that. But you are right, it is going to look very different, even after only a few years, now that we have what remains of Morrowind's population inhabiting it. I'd REALLY like to know who's included in that BTW, which is a major factor in wanting to revisit Solstheim.

Yeah, I don't really believe the "200 years" thing either. (Even though I have photographic evidence). I think it might have been a typo of 20 years or something.

Though if it takes place around the time of The Infernal City, it would be cool seeing Dunmer refugee camps and such.

It'll probably be set after the sequel, which'll probably come out a few months beforehand.

Nah. Been there, done that, ready to check out some new scenery.

Now, if they want me to help start up an East Empire Company town while I'm in Skyrim, I got no problem with that. :D

I don't think that Solstheim will be needed. Solstheim was my favourite part of Morrowind but it wouldn't be needed in a game set in Skyrim. It would be rather frivolous.

Honestly, Solstheim kinda elicits a 'been there, done that' reaction from me. I'd love to hear how it's doing (probably rather badly with the collapse of the Empire), but I don't need to revisit it.
