Visiting the capital wasteland in fallout 4

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 4:55 am

It probably won't happen, but I think it would be awesome to visit a part of the capital wasteland for a short time as part of a quest or something. Since it looks like the events of 4 are going to happen around the same time as 3, maybe you could even meet the lone wanderer there! Just an intriguing thought I had.

No thanks. Fallout 3 is over. Let it be.

It isn't that old to reportray it again like it was done for Solstheim.

The next time I want to visit the Capital Wasteland is when Fallout Online is released.

I'd rather visit The Divide and have a chance to see what it was like before it was destroyed.

Maybe not the capital wasteland but maybe revisiting one of F3's DLC again like the pitt or point lookout

No thanks.
You want the Capital Wasteland, load up FO3.
Keep this game new and fresh. There's too much unknown for me to see in this post war world...why go back to the same places again?
I'd rather see new places.

Fallout 4 will take place in either 2283 or 2285. I 100% guarantee it will not start in 2277.

CW should be FO3. We were lucky enough Solstheim was used twice (TES III:Morrowind: Bloodmoon and TES V: Skyrim: Dragonborn), but considering the narrow time line of FO3 and FO4, I highly doubt CW will be re-visited in FO4.

What they said haha. It doesn't sounds fun to repeat something I've already done plenty of. If anything, it'll be in a mod but I'd still prefer more original content.

Did all of the United States get equally bombed? I'd almost like to go further west to a place that might be somewhat untouched and have a thriving community, say Nebraska (I'm mostly kidding, I just threw it out there because that's where I'm from and hey... Nebraska needs love too ha ha).

Never played Fallout 1 or 2, but Fallout:New Vegas is a game that almost matches what you are asking (some did fall, but no where the magnitude of DC at least).

It'd be funny if during the main story you helped the BoS (assuming you can side with them) and you pilot a vertibird and head to DC to provide air cover for an assault on Jefferson Memorial. One protagonist helping out another!
