VISTA

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 11:35 pm

I've played Fallout II until the screen creaks but now I have a new laptop with Vista installed (Yes I know!)

Can anyone tell me if all Fallouts can run on Vista?

I know my old Combat Missions don't

TIA

Yep, I just downloaded Fallout 1 last night and it plays just fine on Vista 32-bit. Didn't have to run in compatibility mode or anything.

F1, F2 and F:Tactics run fine on Vista (tested it on Vista Home Premium 64-bits)

I had to set it to run in 256 colour mode otherwise all I could see was a mess of colours but other than that it works fine.

I know it doesnt help the OP, but GOG.com swear all of their games are good with vista.

After hunting around for FO2, I grabbed it off GOG.com. Downloaded quick and also works fine in Vista 32-bit.
