Hi

I'm not sure if I'm not press correct button, I've tried everything I can think of on vita. But when I go to use a work bench, search any box corpse or crate I can see the items but pressing X doesn't pick up the item. The only way I can get those items is by having my follower search it. Which gets really annoying when you only want 1 of the items. Would love a fix for this. Thanks

Have the same problem. Sometime X becomes unuasble in game. Restarting the game fixes it go me.

Restart the game.

Or quit the game before you start remote play.

This is pretty stupid and this bug was added since the latest patch.

As mentioned, quit the game first with the PS button.


For myself, I've bought a bracket that holds the Vita with the Dualshock4, sign into a sub-account on the Vita, and play that way. No need to learn the VITA control scheme.

Just wanted to add to this that I've found this issue to occur when trying to get into Power Armour. Haven't tried restarting it, but I'll give that a go soon.

This specific issue has happened to me after several hours of playing on my vita and ps4 without vita in different sittings. And it happens at the worse times like when I first got the trigger for the personal quest for valentine I noticed I couldn't pick up a single scrap of ammo, armor or anything. this was when I was in the beginning of the Golden grasshopper quest (which is an almost 5 story building full of super mutants including 2 legendaries) so yeah imagine doing all that while not being able to pick up ammo at first. One weird thing to note is outside of picking up items and doing work bench (and I guess power armor according to previous reply by another person.) the X works normally, I can open doors, talk to people and do hacking.
