Viva la Résistance! RP Idea and Sign-up

Post » Sat May 19, 2012 11:23 am

I was hit with an Idea for a new RP, It is set in the middle of the Forth Era, in the middle of the Great War.

It is 21st of Rains Hand, 4E 175. In the sleepy Cyrodiilic town of Oakswood, a logging community on the edge of the Colovian Highlands, near the Great Forest the Aldmeri Dominion has arrived. It was overrun, the town has stopped producing the Oak wood that has sustained the community for so long. They are instead locked in their village by curfew and treated as prisoners of war. A few members of the community have formed a resistance, attempting to bring down the small compliment of guards that now inhabit the town.

Is anybody interested in joining, and if so, post in this topic or PM me.

Spoiler

Name: Quintus Aurelius
Race: Imperial
Age: 45
General Appearance (hair, eyes, etc...): Grey-speckled black hair held loose, brown eyes, slightly wrinkly, average height.

Skills: Skills in wielding a blade, and can play the lute.
Weapons: An old Blades Longsword hidden in his basemant.
Armor/Clothing: Simple clothing.
Magic (if any): Simple charm and invisibility spells.
Any Special Traits: Ex-Blade
Equipment: Pack full of food, and a lute.

Brief Background: Quintus was a Blade, in the old days of the Blades. As a child he heard stories as a child of heroes such as Jauffre, the old Grandmaster, and Baurus who helped the Hero of Kvatch save the world from the Oblivion Crisis. From a very young age Quintus wanted to be a blade. His mother had other ideas, she wanted his to be a bard. And so taught him to play the lute, he liked to lute, making music always seemed to calm him down as a boy.
But then, when he was older, and quite an accomplished bard, he played in the inn to please the patrons. But two undercover Blades caught sight of him as he played an old balled about the Oblivion crisis and the heroism of the Blades. They took him in and taught him the way, letting him play for the men to lift their spirits.\
But he started getting too old, and younger men started taking his position, and so he retired and lived in the small town of Oakswood, not telling anybody his secret.

This seems like a fun concept.

Coincidentally, right now I am watching a show about the French Revolution so the thread title gave me a laugh :P

You might want to wait a little while before starting this. There are many RPs already going on and your idea probably wont get very much attention as the RP community is already spread thin.
