Hey I'm curious about what microphone you guys would recommend to be used for Fallout voice acting?

Any, really. Most mics are standard dynamic elements which are commodity items. Indeed, you can't use an electret element unless the mic is powered.

You should record in as close an anechoic room as you can get and remove noise, etc, in post-production.

I have a CAD U37 microphone and its fantastic. Only about 50 bucks.

Here are some guidelines:

- Make sure whatever you get is a Studio Condenser Microphone.
- Do NOT buy a headset with mic on it, that will sound like crap.
- You probably wont get anything good for under like 35 bucks.
