And if you still doubt they nickel-and-dimed their way through the production of Oblivion...according to PC Gamer
Oblivion’s dungeons were mostly designed by just two level designers.
And two level designers with cookie cutters at that.

Yeah, damn bethesda, those corporate bastards!
THEY'RE ONLY LOOKING OUT FOR THEMSELVES!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have trolls to kill.

Who played the Planet Scan voice? She was awesome. I got to spend hours with her... :brokencomputer:

Lot more than the one night stand with what's her face.

BenM69, it appears the only reason you joined this forum is to bash Bethesda and start arguments. Can you please post this kind of stuff elsewhere, it is getting irritating and no one cares.

Thank you

Can you enlighten us more? I'd like to know who voiced the words with no voice acting in Daggerfall. Was it the player?

Well you apparently cared enough to reply to it. LOL. Sorry. It is a bitter pill indeed, but it is what it is...the truth. And I won't be sugarcoating that for anyone, yourself included. I am glad though to see that you do recognize their cheapness as something 'bad' as opposed to them just 'looking out for themselves'. :)

I'm only caring about this because it's an unfair comparison. For one, Bethesda and Bioware make different types of games. Bioware makes less open ended ones, while Bethesda makes more open ended ones. By open ended, I mean exploration of the environment. You're doing nothing of use simply posting numbers. Post review scores without picking out the bad ones for the game you aren't rooting for rather than being fair. Post something more than just telling us how many voice actors voice NCPs.

Bethesda is a different company. They have their flaws, and so does Bioware. You're welcome to voice whatever you want to say about Oblivion or whatever on here, but back it up with more than just a quote from a magazine.

Oblivion 17 voice actors.
Skyrim 70 voice actors.
So you can see BGS is taking a step in the right direction.
Rather than simply saying,"The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is the greatest game in the history of the universe.," why don't you hop over to the Skyrim forums and give suggestions to BGS what they could make better and how.

I haven't played the Mass Effect series myself, but how open world and free to explore is Mass Effect's gameplay? As open and free as a TES game?

You act like they are billionaires hoarding wealth inside their bunker when it is obvious they are passionate and work hard on their games. Oblivion was probably their trickiest project and they did a heckuva job. Mass Effect came years after and it was just as unpolished maybe even more. The Citadel looking like a trip to the largest public restroom on the planet all white and only small details when you could actually see them after they popped in. lol Then Bioware joined up with EA because they couldn't handle the heat. They just wanted to make formula games and dress them up with voice acting. Now you see Skyrim is gonna be leading the field again. Bioware might as well give up. They are probably crapping their pants and trying to hire bigger actors to make cameos now. lol
