Voice actors that you think should be in FO4

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 10:10 am

A good number of the proposed voices actors here are really horrible ideas, not because I think they wouldn't do a good job, but because if they were used, then we'd have another Oblivion all over again, where we keep hearing the same voices over and over and over again. Bethesda would have to pay Captain Picard his obscene salery for a few measly lines of dialog instead of getting more less well known, but otherwise fine actors to do for less, what an A list actor would do for a [censored] load more..

Liam Neeson played Dad in Fallout 3 - I think his voice would be too recognisible for any other role

To will choose to express my approval with a choice local vernacular: "Maaaaaaaaate!"

Seriously, I love Ian McNeice, to have him in Fallout would be excellent. I would also like the guy who voiced the Enclave soldiers to come back, he does voices in Skyrim too... the Riverwood Trader bloke, who-ever that guy is bring him back; his voice is great.

I believe that morgan freeman should be the [censored] narrator or some old, badass, "profesional" hitman. If thats possible in the wasteland

Eddie Vedder
J.E. Sawyer

Two people I would like to have in the game signing original music.

Dan Castellaneta- voicing a robot (like the Robot Devil)
Frank Welker
Billy West
Hank Azaria
Jim Cummings
Mark Hamill
Richard Horowitz
Tom Kenny
Clancy Brown
John DiMaggio

I hope they use ACTUAL voice actors and not just actors to voice the parts. I don't want to hear Brad Pitt or Steven Seagal's voices coming out of any characters mouth. Chriist, between Frank Welker, Billy West and Mark Hamill ( I am aware he is an actor too but he's an exceptional voice actor as well) they could voice well over 100 characters as it is.

Yh. I add my vote for CLINT EASTWOOD. He would definitely be my first choice.

I'd want him to have a major role.

Yuri Lowenthal
Crispin Freeman

Yuri Lowenthal and Liam O'Brien were uses -alot- in New Vegas. Yuri's voice was pretty annoying to hear so much actually, though I like him in things usually. Him being the voice of the Courier when he power attacks and was annoying too...

I do think he should return along with Liam O'Brien, though Liam should be a more main character because he is awesome. Crispin Freeman kicks ass as well, and needs an appropriate character to match that.

Hearing Billy Wests epic "Powdered Toast, Man!!!" announcer voice on a radio station or from some crazy character would be awesome.

Ron Perlman (Perfect as the Narrator for every Fallout game so far, and it should stay that way)
Clint Eastwood
Bruce Willis
Bill Paxton
Hank Azaria
Frank Welker
Richard Dean Anderson (he's in the 1st game, so it's probably not a good idea, unless he can change his voice)
Mike Rowe
Mark Hamill
Steve Buscemi
Jason Statham
Mel Gibson

but then again I agree with this
I'd prefer a noname cast that does well for what it is set out to do. At the price of Liam Neeson - for example - you could get 3-4 professional voiceactors with no Hollywood fame, and thus far greater VO variety.

Tara Strong / Jennier Hale / Lisa Yamanaka / Kate Higgins / Tara Platt / Stephenie Sheh / Grey DeLisle / Meredith McCoy /Liam O'Brien / Patrick Ryan /Courtenay Taylor / Kathleen Wilhoite / Steven Jay Blum / John Witherspoon / Aisha Tyler / Scott Williams / Eliza Dushku / (If only) Tony Jay... (RIP)

On an honest note, they should get lesser people who aren't from Viz so they can put work in for them at a cheaper cost.. I mean, Yuri Lorenthal never changes his voice up in most of his work. Its always Sasuke I hear and... I don't want to hear that. Fallout should get some original sounds...

Maybe even a few voice options for your character. I mean, I feel more engaged if I actually said what sentence I choose to respond with. (and not vaguely summerized like in Mass Effect)

The best advice is hire people who can do an entire variety of sounds like Tara strong / Pamela Segall /Jennifer hale and Grey DeLisle.

Ron Pearlman is a must. But I agree with the sentiments that before they get big-name actors, they should focus their budget on less famous ones that are good at what they do to maximize diversity.

Erik Dellums who did the voice of Three Dog in Fallout 3.
James Lewis is my favourite voice over actor, he did the voice of Jericho, Eulogy, Ashur and the Raiders among other characters from Fallout 3.
And finally Duncan Hood also from Fallout 3.

Morgan freeman do the opening and closing narrations with Ron Perlman. Liam Neeson shall voice the NPCs Finally Sean Connery will voice all the villains. Oh and Stephen Fry will personally sing the tutorial to you and voice all the companions.

BOOM eargasmic Fallout!
