Voice Actress and Actor

So anyone have any clues who might be the VA's for the female and male leads?

The female one reminds me of the VA voicing Ashley Williams in Mass Effect, but I'm guessing it's not her, she has slightly (like a tiny difference) darker voice than the VA in F4. Other that this I have no idea who it might be, I don't think I have heard her before.

The male one; I have no idea.

No New England accent was presient so what does it matter? They've already dropped the ball.

Thank, God a New England accent is absent. The Boston accent makes me want to claw my ears out. Uh, no offense to anyone from Boston.

We can just suppose that by 2077, the "Middle American" neutral accent has spread throughout the entire country. It is already spreading rapidly and wiping out the regional accents in contemporary America, so I can see it as an easy explanation. And not, you know, Bethesda trying to spare their player base from hearing Bostonian people talking.

He sounded like he was from my state actually. From what I heard there wasn't an accent compared to how people from Connecticut talk. Obviously there is an accent, but I don't hear it because it's natural for me.

So it's still possible to be a New England accent.

Edit: Connecticut IS New England btw, so yeah he sounded like he had a New England accent.

The male one seems to be Troy Baker, that's the general consensus

Given his level of emotion, I'm not unconvinced that the male voice is being supplied by some text to speech computer program.

Hush you. Everyone knows Conn was voted out years ago. :stare:

And White Rabbit- Shame on you! The NE accent is the sound of angels sing in joy! Our sweet dulcet tones can sooth the most savage of beast.

The game references the player going to the veterans' ball so it could mean he's not a native to Boston, the military is well known for moving people around from base to base. So he just might have ended up in the Boston area when he mustered out.

Look, I don't have a good reason why the Boston accent grates on every nerve I have - it just does. No other American accent sounds as weird and stilted to me. It just doesn't sound ... natural.

I'm from the South, and the fake Antebellum accents actors do annoys me tremendously, but that's a fake accent that doesn't exist anymore and is over-exaggerated. The Boston accent is somehow real.

His voice did sound ridiculously familiar to me. Like I've heard it a lot in the past.

On a side note, it was hilarious that Todd slammed the door in the dude's face mid-sentence.

The German synchronisation should use Saxon to translate this dialect...

"Ah have mah caaffee in tha mahnin then ride mah haas out to the bahn to get the caa. On mah way to baa haaba check the pricin on lobstahs at the stah."

"I have my coffee in the morning, then ride my horse out to the barn to get the car. On my way to the barn, I have to check the price on lobsters at the store."

I'm calling it now:
Female 111 Dweller- Laura Bailey
Male 111 Dweller- Troy Baker/Nolan North

Nothing against Laura but I do hope she isn't the voice actress for the female character. Her voice has been used so many times in Fallout, having her voice the main character won't do much in terms of making the character your own. I really hope they get somebody I've never heard of, or somebody with a unique voice who has never voiced before in a Fallout game.
