Voice files

So, if I convert the .wav files .ogg with the same name would you still here them in-game?

And if I have a voice file that I use for more than 1 dialogue is there a way I can have the GECK point to 1 file for both responses?

Nobody knows? I guess I'd better stick with .wav files for it all then. I know they're working for now.

Sorry, I didn't see this earlier. As for your questions:

1. Yes, they'll be heard in-game. The voices.bsa file has .ogg files and not .wavs.
2. As far as I know, each dialog line requires its own voice file. If you copy a line, you'll need to create a copy of your voice file and change the name of it to what the GECK assigns it.

Ah, OK thanks. At least that'll help reduce file size which wouldprobably be as good as beign able to use 1 .wav file for 2 lines. Much appreciated.

Anytime. From what I've seen, ogg files are much smaller than wavs yet don't seem to lose the quality that mp3s can. I guess that's why Bethesda went with them. I'm not an audiophile so I could be mistaken.
