I recently started playing it again, so i just finished installing it on steam. GOTY edition.
So, I create my character and everything. I hear sounds and guy in the cell across from mine in the beginning of the game begins talking "beautiful dunmer maiden" and whatnot. At this point, I can hear him say everything on the dialogue. Then come the emperor and his entourage. I see the dialogue on the bottom of the screen, but don't hear anything. I thought, "maybe they're too far for me to hear." But once they got right in front of the door and are supposed to caution me from "getting in their way", I can't hear them speaking, they just look at me as the dialogue does the "speaking" for them. I have no mods installed whatsoever, so I don't know what the problem could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
