I've had VOILA installed for many months and enjoy it. You WILL see foot patrols and combo foot-horse patrols, and also lone soldiers. Actually, the lone guy I passed looked a lot like me when I've wandered too far collecting plants - dammit, now where in blazes did I put my damned horse? Fortunately I have Dude, where's my horse? He was moving quite quickly, so I think he was trying to catch up to something. That's the other thing I've seen - them running somewhere - very neat. Never noticed that before... I remember once earlier in my game that I had collected a small bounty for something and I wanted to clear it so I approached Maelona in Anvil - she just pvssyd about the gang. I had to try a couple of times before I found a guard to actually process my fine! I can't wait to test to make sure I don't have that "problem" anymore!
