1.according to ur official wedsite says about the gauss its suposto be beter from the gauss in crysis 1.
its slower to shoot, has less power, and cant be reloaded in campain....
You didnt make it beter, you nerfed the **** out of it!!!!!!!
2. your not gana fix it then you should at least let us unlock it earler....
3. guass shouldn't be affected by armore cos its too slow to get the second shot off.
4. one shot chest shot should be avalable at 75% energy not like 25 or 50 and stomach should be possible at like 60%.

i vote for it to be the same as the crysis 1 guass (1 shot i kill) man i was very excited to use the guass but wen it recurring 2 shots to bring someone down it was a let down (for me its the same as the dsg1 sniper )

(i think its just nerfed down for stupid people that says(with a nerd voice (ohhh it was nerfed down because then u will be running with cloak engage and energy transfer equipped ohhh)

No, I'm not really sure about the damage but something along the lines of 115dmg everywhere exept head and your player have 120 health.

It shouldnt be 1-shotkill, but maybe higher rate of fire.

I agree.
There is something really wrong with it.
I can shoot someone standing still 4 or 5 times and none of the bullets hit.
I hear many others have the same issue of the bullets not hitting..
.. while the 'weaker' DSG hits perfectly everytime.

Problem is that 1 shot weapons are terrible for multiplayer balance (even the JAW is borderline). If it is one shot then it will no longer be used just as a long range weapon.

The only plausible way to "buff" gauss is to nerf DSG to maybe 3 body shots and 2 shots to head if (in armor mode) at full hp. Or if the gauss has to charge up for a shot and fire randomly between lets say 2-3 seconds.

I agree that it feels underpowered compared to the DSG but the issue with gauss is not lack of power but how it compares to the DSG.

Nerf the DSG - hell no! It's already hard to hit people with that thing. In games like Battlefield it's right that sniper rifles are not OHK (except headshots) because the enemies move at normal speeds and tend to hold positions. In Crysis 2 practically all targets are constantly moving and sprinting and jumping 10ft in the air.

As for the Gauss, I would buff it slightly. Not a guaranteed OHK but maybe improve accuracy and reload speeds.

It is an OHK in the Campaign, and it can be reloaded so I'm not sure what you're talking about there OP. Maybe the fact that ammo for the Gauss (that's Gauss, btw, not "Guass") is pretty scarce, and actually only comes in the form of other Gauss rifles you find laying around if memory serves (unless you have it undermounted on a SCAR, in which case the ammo refills at every ammo crate). That, and the gun looks a hell of a lot better than it did in Crysis (worst looking gun in Crysis imo), although those little wiggly metal things are kinda creepy.

In the opinion of this serval, make it so that only gauss projectiles travel at 8000m/s (currently the DSG has that speed too) but force the rof reduction so if you don't get that ohk then your target has more of a chance than if you had a DSG.
