theres like a million and a half game of the year awards awarded by different companies all over. This year alone will have at least 6 different game of the year games on the shelf for next year. Theres no need to worry, if skyrim loses to zelda on G4, it will win from somebody else, and still get to put that "game of the year" label on their later copies of the game. Zelda will win at least one game of the year award too. So if skyrim loses to G4, its not the end of the world for skyrim, there will be another around the corner.

I voted...but not tell for who. And these threads are annoying. "OMG Zelda's is winning! Go vote! Go vote!" Been like this for the last 4 days.

EDIT: And I agree with The Sentinel. It's not like you guys are going to prevent Zelda from getting a GOTY award...Both games are going to get a slew of them. They both deserve it. Epic games are epic.

Don't get me wrong, Zelda is fun and stuff. But it just doesn't have that special pizzazz for me that Skyrim has.

I don't own the new Zelda game, but I have a feeling it deserves to win more than Skyrim.

Skyrim would be amazing, but I can't really play for more than about an hour without having to reset my PS3, The game locks up constantly, and even when it isn't lagging and everything's the way it should be... The game just runs like crap.

It feels very unfinished... Like a really good fruit picked too early, it will never be quite right.

Skyrim has been the best / worst gaming experience I've ever had.

yeah bethesda games known for randomly crash on different people, even the same system, like console.

even the PC, if you have the spec like the game recommended it, some people will have random CTD in random interval time.

it's not the machine i think. it's about luck

There was a guy who made a good point in the G4 thread. Basically ACR won. If Zelda won, face it, most of you guys will be bitter and vote against Zelda just to spite the game and it's fans. While Skyrim has been my most anticipated game this year, I'm currently playing way more Skyward Sword. I'm a massive Zelda junkie though. I hope both games win, they both deserve it. Zelda is a lot more polished though.

I doubt that ACR's support will be strong enough to overthrow Skyrim or Zelda, even if Skyrim lost I would vote for Zelda in the final

Skyrim has much more replayability compared to Skyward sword, and quality must be sacrificed for quantity
