It makes me laugh how stupid that G4tv deathmatch is they make completely diffrent types of games fight to see who will win like when they made skyrim fight mortal kombat....

It won't let me vote, I made an account, clicked vote, and then it just turned to a blank white screen and didn't load results or anything.

If its a fight between which is the better game, they both deserve to win.
If its a fight between fan boys and life long nostalgic memories, then this competition is meaningless.

Zelda is a better game sorry. Skyrim is a buggy POS to me right now. I don't enjoy playing a game I am concerned about not completing a quest or some crazy bizarre event happening in the game. The game is a mess to me. Call me more self aware of what I see in games then most others. Skyrim is a mess and will be for several weeks until they start fixing these quest. Zelda I can always count on a quality game. Like I said in the other thread ditto to this one about Skyrim GOTY, game complexity shouldn't be a excuse for a game to be riddled with bugs and a overall "incomplete" feeling in gameplaying.

I voted. I also posted on my Facebook. Got at least one buddy to vote. It's close too. 49% to 51%, earlier today Skyrim was leading a reflection of that. If people on the forums would take two seconds to sign up and vote we could contribute another award Skyrim deserves. Skyward Sword is good, but at the end of the day I have to say Skyrim is by and far the superior experience (And don't doubt I love Zelda, I own an original sealed copy of the original gold cartridge Zelda and Zelda II).

Lets show our support and turn the tide guys, it's a very VERY close match and this community can make the difference.

Meh, I don't really care who wins and even if I did I haven't played Zelda Skyward Sword so I couldn't vote for either since I haven't played the other.

you know i thought about that too..but then i realized something.
in the 50-100 hours in skyward sword will be more enjoyable than 50-100 hours in skyrim.

also, its a better GAME!
skyrim is hard to consider being a GAME!

i have spent so much time in tes that i cant fool myself. its not a game, its another life :D

youre still banging on about this? the complaining and complaining about complaining was less tedious than this incessant call for me to get into a really devoted fan fight with zelda obsessives...

in some ways yes. its more polished has stronger content and appeals to more people for many reasons.
the amount of time you spend in the game does not mean much.

i have over 100+ hours in skyrim, that's nothing compared to oblivion and morrowind.
changes NOTHING.

You're right TES fans would never stoop to such levels as Zelda fans....

Wait, I've played Skyward Sword (good game, Skyrim is my personal GOTY, but Skyward Sword is a lot of fun) and I think 50-100 hours is stretching it - but then again I did find a number of the side quests to be kind of bland filler.

I guess if your a completest there is collecting to do and things to find, but no where near as much as Skyrim.

I want Skyrim to lose simply because I thought the effort put into Skyrim was overall half-assed. A good game overall? Yes, but I don't want Bethesda getting a pat on the back for slacking off when they could've done more. The factions, storylines, NPC reactions to player actions and some of the perk/skill balancing (no I don't mean Smithing and Enchanting are OP; I don't care. I mean some perk trees as a whole are absolutely pathetic, and some skills level at an odd rate) could all use a lot of work.

Meh lame if SS wins it. The only feeling that I got out of SS is nostalgia :S. Skyrim shoved in my face feelings of anxiety, rage, confusion, grief, happiness, etc etc. Still feeling bad for that certain bard who tried to expose the truth behind a certain jarls victory over a flying lizard.
