The votekick svcks.. Nobody knows how to use it..
Cheaters just work in groups and no one gets kicked..

Small advice... instead of trying fix 20 things in one patch, you guys should fix ONE thing but properly, and then move on to another task.


this is ridiculous. everything crytek does seems to be wrong. flamers are everywhere. only because you were offended by his joke doesn't mean you have to criticize his whole work.

Not wrong, but since they can't deliver decent patch which "should" fix multiple glitches/bugs/errors it is obvious that Crytek is trying do to much at once, which means they should focus on less tasks at once. Many people prefer ONE GOOD fix than 10 barely working or causing other problems instead of fixing them.
I wasn't offended by his joke, more like by his attitude toward community which he treat like bunch of morons because they want to have smooth and intuitive vote-kick system which won't cause unnecessary problems during game.
Also, he is not the "one" and not "only one" who is working on game/fixing stuff, so how i can criticize "his" work since it isn't his work?

type in the first few letters of the username and then hit the Tab key.

For all you guys that keep killing me as I learn how to play 'competatively,' have no fear of being kicked. Sure I get mad and frustrated at being killed all the time, but it is aimed at myself, not others .
Sometimes it is really hard for someone like myself to tell if a good player is a hacker or not. Some are obvious, like the one I saw flying around the map the other day, but others are a bit more 'iffy.'
Pity there is not a hard and fast way of telling the difference. I see some guys with 20/6 kill/death ratio and wonder how the heck they do it when I am 4/10. Are they hackers, or just good players? Who can say unless you spot something out of the ordinary?

What I'm saying though is that to a person at my skill level, it is hard to know what is a good and reasonable score for a good player.

This is yet again a patch that was made ??totally schlcht. vote to open the console? why not have the Tatstatur honest that's **** absolute. the whole is surely easier than the console enough spare keys are still available ......

This is going to need a UI gump or an f1 - f2 voting system, people are too goddamn stupid to use this. most dont even know what the tilde key is. I waste my time in all chat trying to give a step by step walkthrough of how to type **** "vote" in the console and end up ragequitting the server regardless because none of the votes succeed.

The score is not an indicator that someone is cheating, if is below 30 kills. When you activate the Orbital strike and the Ceff gunsghip, you can get a lots of kills. Yesterday I managed 24 kills. The maximum nanosuit can also be confused with cheating, since you can get much more damage before you die. The killcam will show more accurate how the top players kill and you can spot cheaters easily. If someone stays clocked all the time even when they shoot, or the movement speed is like in custom Crysis Wars maps (very high), or if they kill you with a single shoot (not in head or in gun(?)), and the deaths are 0-1-2, kills 30+, they are obvious cheaters. You can search the Internet for "Crysis 2 trainers" and some sites shows you what are the options that the trainer (used for cheating) does. You will learn more about these filty worms.

Make it like in Battlefield:
"Page Up" = Yes
"Page Down" = No
and print it on screen so that everybody knows what to do.

This console thing is not so handy for the less informed players, who don't visit these forums.

Agree, make it simple and tell everyone how to do . not all people want to read many forum or try by self . simply and easy.

Yesterday playing some ranked game on Impact, one dude was sprinting 24/7, wiping everyone with Marshal and some crazy shooting speed, so i did start voting, and guess what? No one even care about voting/or didn't even realized that voting started lol. After 2min game ended, and in another map again no one got even slight clue that voting is in progress I ended up hit by cheating wagon and quit server while there was like NO other servers to play. So what is wrong with voting system? Let's see...
- any text displayed in chat is very hard to read,
- text in chat scroll to fast,
- information about voting is easy to miss due to blurry font and fast scrolling text (would be nice to see BIG message on the bottom of the screen at least)
- no GUI (which make voting easy to notice and execute)

Unless community will work on trying learn how to vote and actually will bother to kick cheating kiddies, console voting is quite useless ;/

Just quit a game after seeing some member called RUS something or other using a wallhack. Prat shot me from the other side of the map through a wall. I fail to see what kind of enjoyment they get out of this.

i tried the votekick feature now and it's USELESS only one or two players on the server even know how to open the CONSOLE making it impossible to explain how to kick somebody.
the genius who had that idea deserves a price...

This was the last straw for me! The "supporting", fanatic, and nice people that keeps saying "thank you for....." and "... for crytek's hard work" or "I KNEW CRYTEK DID....(this and that)"is obviously in complete denial now. You have to be a dumb nut to realize that crytek fails in THIS game. about 85% of the PC community here agrees that this useless dumb unrealizable patch is complex and unreliable to use. What happen to the Crysis 1 !kick playername or !votekick playername reason, ect...? It should be a chat command in which a big text would appear either in the middle of the screen, bottom of the screen, or in either corner of the screen saying.

I cannot stand the lack of work that crytek is putting into this game.
And this "be patient..." people keep saying to us. Really? I've been patient for about 2 month. A release PC game should be AT LEAST fully developed by release date. I know PC games have bugs here and there when barely released but they'll eventually patch it all up within weeks. BUT 2 MONTH (and counting...)
It's quite ironic how patches is suppose to "fix" bugs but rather these patches creates and/or worsens bugs, glitches, ect.

Uhm, the idea of vote-kick is good, just the way how cote-kick is executed sux balls

Heres the guy in question, so blatant

Ive tried the votekick a few times and hasnt worked or nobody new how to vote

One player just flooded the chat with random letters, effectively blocking out my initiated votekick.
All that came through was "votekick unsuccessful, insufficient votes".

Finally no more hackers and bug users
