When I'm pressing ~` the console is not opening and I can't vote. What should I do??

What i see is a big problem is that nobody See's that a vote kick has been initiated... People are playing and i too don't pay attention to what is going on on the top right corner of the screen. What i think needs done is this!!

One make it obvious that a vote kick is initiated! Make it come across the top of the screen!! That way 99% know that a vote-kick is going on!

Second make it easier for a vote kick to be initiated. Like implement a vote-kick system that is easy enough for Noobs to use. 70% don't know even what a command console is!

That's my 2cents!! Also for the love of god get rid of this BOOMIJUSTSHOTYOU!

And Franking 166 - I don't know if it's bad luck but I kept being chucked in games with this aimbot grrrr and too many n00bs couldn't vote, we must have initiated like 8 votekicks and not one was successful!

What happens if the Hacker just initiates a random votekick before we can? He's safe for some time, right?

MaxPower we are screwed and powerless at the time. him BOOMIJUSTSHOTYOU and CrytekProgrammer are proving that they cant be stopped... Also they said Crytek cant and wont stop them. And they have also Wrote that Cry-tom or Adam can go svck there nadds and dared them to try and Ban them. I remember he said this one time before that they don't have a anti-cheat cause they would not be playing this long. Then they call us derogatory names racist names. it just so screwed up. Such things have just ruined the PC crysis name. Not the DX11 But hackers. Heck dude its bad when they post there own videos of them hacking on the forums. Man where are the admins!! And we have no way of reporting the hackers cause we are not allowed to post hackers names or videos. so they run the servers. I want to rent a server but no way I'm doing that until we have proof they are serious about removing hackers. they claim they take hacking very seriously!! Well to me I'm sorry but it does not seem like it. When they show me proof they banned crytekProgrammer and BOOMIJUSTSHOTYOU then i will rent a server. I'm not spending anymore money on this game until i see proof.

And one more thing im not in any way trying to slam Crytek or Cry-Adam-Tom its just seem like we get punished for trying to report these hackers. I'm so dang frustrated that i cant enjoy this game. And these guys are not the only hackers there are far more then what yo think...

I really dont understand why making md5 hash sum of .pak files and comparing it by game or by server with what we have on our pcs is so hard to implement. Or maybe other integrity test of .pak files - i dont know im not a game programmers so i dont know but folks... have mercy for gamers!

Well, the voting seems simple enough, but its too often there are people who just don't know how to vote. Despite telling them very simply in game how to vote. Honestly, its better for people to see something like, f1 to vote yes and f2 to vote no. Its one button that allows for a player to keep going without slowing gameplay down.

Hoping for a refinement, but what we got is better than nothing.

Oh, look out for a very unskilled LastChance007, likes to fire full auto while remaining in stealth.

His idea is not even close to how spyware operates. It would more like a scan from windows update as to what type of updates you need to have installed on your system. Spyware downloads an .exe to your system without your knowledge or consent. His idea would no such thing.

NO i want a games thats fair for everyone! I have no interest in multinational co/ops. I have never installed a cheat on my pc ever and if that make me the Largest noob of all time then i stick my hands up to that!
I believe that anti cheat programs are the way forward for games companys not just Crytec. Maybe i should apply for a job in PR... LOL at that idea.

Lets keep it real their are Two types of players here Cheaters and thoose who don't, which are you to be ? either they stop cheat programmers or we all sucome to cheating and i will not continue to play long term with people who think like that. End off.

Ps; This is not directed at anyone person, just thought i would make that clear.

what's really pathetic is not the kickvoting system, that works at least in about 1 out of 20 times, but the lack of response from the admins and crytek to all of the problems people are having with it.

Hi Spearion, it's the Tilde key above the TAB key on z keyboard when in console type vote kick the players name or as much of the name as you can remember press TAB key and this will auto the rest of the name press enter then the rest of the players have the option to vote. I am sure their is post on another thread somewhere near by... hope this helps a little. o then if the other players agree they can follow and press F1 or F2 for yes and no )

Thanks for this information on how to initiate a votekick against someone. I have experienced more hackers (aimbots, wallhacks, etc) in Crysis 2 than in Crysis Wars. At least in Crysis Wars you had an admin or a bot admin on the server most of the time that cut down the hackers that would come on the server. I still want to play the multi-player but it is annoying with aimbotters just running around the map shooting up everything. Hell I was even on the same team as the hacker and I was still pissed because he shot up the other team before anyone could get any kills. The update has not cut down on the hackers. I think they have grown. I just want a fair game!!! If I get my a*& kicked by fair play then hey it's all good. Later!

Huh... I know where is this button ^^
But my problem is not to find this button, but when I press Tilde the console isn't open. Can I vote without console?

I have tried all the workarounds (-devmode, etc) to get the tilde key to work and it still will not open...

I am not having much success with this system.

When i encounter cheaters and initiate a votekick, nobody is capable of using the system.

I have tried explaining, in words, how to use the console in order to vote and i only got 3 players to vote.

The worst part about this is that all the players in the game acknowledged the cheater and wanted him out but were incapable of using the voting system. Some players were typing "vote" in the game chat ... others were typing "console", others kept asking "how do i use this ?".

This is not working, at least for me it's not.

Key in the first few letters of the username and then hit the Tab key. Been mentioned before.
