Well this voting system blows!! We just had a hacking dikehead called "100 nova 100" and then his name changed to "like nova 100". votekicking doe snot work, I am starting to believe that this game is a god damn port with all the missing general PC features.

NEXT CRYSIS release will not get my money so easily! THAT'S a promise.

THIS DOES NOT WORK!

This vote system and lack of anti hacking software reminds me of crossfire. The Vote system will backfire on all above average players, and the hackers will prevail. The voting system doesnt work, first off, the team winning will not vote, and second, above average players will be seen as 'hackers.' To fix the hacking problem, you need server admins to make sure there are no hackers, and also make/use a anti hacking software, which might not be perfect, but still helps.
As for me, voting system is a weak attempt to make it seem like you care about the community.

Adam, it's just that the average player doesn't know what the console is.

It's also futile to explain when in-game.
On a german (european) server languages fluently understood are:
60% german
60% english
40% french
40% polish
30% russian
etc.

And believe me, i tried. Countless times, even during those breaks in the lobby. One hacker actually left by himself, pissed off by my constant tries to explain how to fscking kick him.

I'm happy, the issues are known and will be fixed when they are fixed, there is no point for this constant biching and moaning over and over the same things nor for insults, just don't play if you dislike it so much.

But let me remind you, it is handy sometimes against high pingers causing us lag or a cheater. BUT.. most of the majority players abuse the vote kick cuz they don't like you. Kinda stupid eh? yes i agree with the easy voting feature so most players don't have to use the command in the console. Most players don't even know how to open a console and it takes me a minute or two to explain them before it's too late to vote lol.

Crytek. Get your heads together and fight for us and win this!

well this is quite good that its not easy accecible at all... it means that only PROS like us can kick the RIGHT person not just some nub to come and say ooh hes hacker ima kick him because he killed me in the head while i wasnt looking at him... buttholes like these need to leave game or start learning... i really hope it stays this complicated(which is simple as hell) so only pros know what to do.

That's true but doesn't change the fact a pro player like me just gets pissed off and decides to abuse the vote kick on other people including me? Stupid really.

Ve are ze master race nein nein achtung!!
Lol no offence, just thought it funny coming from a German. Seriously though allow Adam a bit of slack, he has to read all of the crap on here regarding elite 'proper pc gamers' and all that bollocks so you can't expect humans to not have the odd slip of patience now and again, and he has got a point:

Hey how do I vote?
Press the tilde key (the key to the left of the 1 key, above tab)
oh yea got it
then enter "vote" and press enter again
OK done it!

Job done! If people can't work out how to do that then leave 'em to it.
Just ignore the fact you may be killed while typing, it's not the end of the world.

I suggest a sticky without replies so everyone can pick it up. Saying that though people don't read or search most of the time.

And a the end of the day, try and go on administrated servers, because that is the best protection as long as an admin is online.

I'd still like to know if us server admins can disable this feature with a server config command?

I've removed my post and responses as it was a bit loose and i should be setting a good example. Apologies to anyone who was offended by the glorious master race joke :)

@Cry-Adam
Don't get me wrong but you are still not funny, and your post was literally full of . . . . . . I apologize for my words but it is best way to describe lack of respect, common sense and what generally you wrote to us in your post.

Small advice... instead of trying fix 20 things in one patch, you guys should fix ONE thing but properly, and then move on to another task.

It's not your fault if some people can't take a fairly widespread joke.

Crytek is actually working and listening to their costumers, there will always be some issues with modern games. Und du musst dir diesen Schei? hier antun, mein Beileid.

And review the leaderboard. The cheaters already took the first few hundreds top places. No more cheaters from now on is very good, but I want a fair leaderboard too. The kick vote must be implemented in day one patch or in the original game, not after a month, but later then never is ... ok.

I don't understand why so much complaints. We wanted votekick, Crytek gives us votekick. Now, we don't want votekick ?!?!? WTF! Grow up and be sure what you ask for. The votekick is very simple to use, a little late yes, but no more cheaters from now on. And nobody kicks a better player just for fun or for the fact that he killed him a lot. Very good players deserves to play, and nobody will kick them. And a little reminder: there must be a majority of votes, not just one. So, be cool, chill and thx Crytek for support.

It's not like we don't want vote-kick, just everyone assumed that it will be voting with GUI in game, which bunch of games have, but instead we got clumsy vote-kick via console in game which actually cause more mess than good things. I am sure at some point everything somehow will work, but don't forget that not all people are same and programmers from Crytek need to aim higher.

I don't like the new VoteKick system. Why is it through the console? Sure, me and a few other gamers know how to use it, but the majority of players don't. This applies to even game servers with good players.

this is ridiculous. everything crytek does seems to be wrong. flamers are everywhere. only because you were offended by his joke doesn't mean you have to criticize his whole work.
