Notepad...

When using TAB to scroll through the names and the correct name appears, replace the "@" with "_" move the curser back to the end of the name before pressing enter
Thanks Sultaan, but that does not answer how to delete the '@' from some of those where a different letter/symbol gets deleted from where the cursor actually is.
For instance; maui><@L}{?/
If I were to place the cursor where the '@' is located, the symbol '{' could be the one that actually gets deleted instead.

Ok. I am in my mid fifties, so you need to explain more . What is the easiest way to open notepad whilst I am in-game? Alt-Tab-Delete to the desktop, paste the name into notepad and edit as required? How to copy the name whilst in-game? Can it be copied in console?

Eheh, okay.

1. Open console and type votekick (TAB+TAB..) until the cheater's name comes.

2. Hit CTRL+C. This will copy both command and player name. (votekick B@st@rd) Don't hit enter. You may exit console.

3. Press Alt+Tab to minimize Crysis 2. Now you are probably on desktop where you can easily launch Notepad.

4. Paste what you've copied. You should see (votekick B@st@rd). Then replace @ with underscore. (votekick B_st_rd). If more than one @ is there in nick, replace all of them.

5. Now copy the new command.

6. Click Crysis 2. You should be still in game probably killed once or twice. Open console and press CTRL+V. This will paste what you've copied.

7. Hit enter. Vote will start.

Note: There is no need for this if the @ symbol(s) is/are replaceable in console.
