i'm very new to pc gaming, but would prefer this to consoles!

but this vsyn problem is giving me a heart ache with crysis 2......vsyn off very high frame rates. Vsyn On better quality image, FPS capped at about 50

so how can i have Vsync off and no image tearing? btw i have a benq gl2440 monitor

can anyone help?

In-game, go to graphics and change your v sync setting(put it on or off), then do it again until either your screen gets darker or your FPS rise, this is the v sync fix.
