* Replaces all 7 tree types in the Ashlands to bigger and more fearsome variations

* Adds 7 unique trees including a burning tree near lava pools and dead trees and tree stumps just outside of Ashlands.

* Grass generated for the whole Ashlands region (thank you, again, Zackq.)

* Spiderwebs are added to some locations in the ashlands.

* New lava and smoke

Not at all what I was expecting but they are way wicked. I could definitely see them being used on some kind of horror mod. Good job!

Thanks! I've play tested some more and i havent seen any issues yet, but be sure to let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm using TCL to fly around so maybe i've missed collision issues etc..

http://piclair.com/data/cq3q9.jpg's a more clear picture of all the 7 variations (not so easy to see in the pics or even in the game since they're quite big)

Ridiculously awesome looking. I'll have to check this out in my game right away...

Edit: Downloaded, regenerated distant land / statics, and wow. Dark, menacing, unfriendly embodiments of the ashlands. Definitely keeping these.

This is madness, the clipping will be immense!!!111!1
Are you using zackg's(?) tree placement there, and if so, is it included with this?

No, these are 100% my own trees. Zackg's trees was a bit of an inspiration though, but they weren't this "far-out".

The clipping isnt as bad as you might think, they're so high that they're not poking into anything, most of the time :) They mostly clip into each other but its not that easy to see since they share the same texture, it looks more like they've grown together.

Wow! What an excellent way to add character to the landscape. I've been a fan of much of your work but these especially look excellent. Thanks for creating them and most especially for sharing.

Oh, I know they're 100% your trees, I meant they look like they're placed densely in those screenshots, I was wondering if you were using an .esp to get it that way (I think zackg made one).
A quick scan of the dl looks like it isn't included if you are using one.

Glad to hear about the clipping, though I'll probably just make some edits if I find any anyway. :)

EDIT: Request- for the Bitter Coast (since I'm assuming you're doing BC trees at some point :P), could you do http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a346/Shayshi/mangrove.jpg trees? I feel like those twisting roots would be perfect for Vvardenfell :D

Looks awesome, but personally I'd tone the contrast down a bit on the textures (but that's easy for me to do myself, so I have no complaints).
As if Morrowind's flora wasn't awesome enough already

Not to keen on the texture, but the models look just right for the Ashlands. :foodndrink:

Cool tree, would fit in really well in the BC region. I saved the pic to my "inspiration" folder.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Updated with a slightly improved texture, its a little brighter so it fits the rocks etc a little better.. I used the clone stamp a little to fix some things i didnt like (it's still really HR Giger-like and scary, i promise! ;) )

I could make a smaller version. I've only tested this size so it would be interesting to see how that would work/look.

ChrisC: No problem ;) In fact i didnt expect that many people to like it..
