Verreh, verreh noice!

I would be following that link and downloading these at this very moment, were it not for the fact that planet elder scrolls says the mod is currently unavailable/hidden.

Oh wells... I'll try again later.

 ... yeah. I can't read, apparently.

It's way too early in the morning for me... I need some damn caffeine in my body.

One moment please...

Ah... much better.

Well then, with that said:

"I'm off to see the Nexus...
... to download a bunch of trees...
Because, because, because, because...
Because of the remarkable work Vurt does...

Oh,

I'm off to visit the nexus...
... gonna frolic in shrubbery...
And I'll dance, and play, and shout 'Yipee'
Whenever a tree sways in the breeze...
And never again, will Morrowind be...
A place of dullness and drudgery...
Because, because, because
Because, becaaaaaaause...

...I'm off to visit the nexus...
... and then I'll download this mod!
Cha."

There we go. Much better.

Also, all credits to the tune of that song go to it's rightful creator. All parodied lyrics are in no way representative of the original songmaker's statements or opinions. The Wizard of Oz, 'We're off to see the Wizard, and any other potentially trademarked, copyrighted, or otherwise owned intellectual property are used, without permission, for the sole purpose of enthusiastic celebration and outburst.

Yep... that whole thing, no caffeine.

I do my best work -before- the chemicals start flowing. I find the groggy pain of a throbbing, pounding headache are often -just- the ticket.

Also! I find it worth mentioning that, in the time it has taken me to write all of this... the PES upload is now published and available. So yeah.

Two places: One great mod.

Go get it, peeps! Nao!

Really, really beautiful. Just a few thoughts (I know it's a WIP):

- Most of the textures that don't already have mipmaps could do with having some added.
- For flora_bc_tree_01, shouldn't the 'mossy' branches be on the lower part of the tree, where it's damper?

Other than that, I love it - many thanks for yet another gorgeous tree mod!

Vality's trees were nice but the whole billboarding thing started to get annoying so I started using the vanilla trees again. But this is much better! :goodjob:

It should look much better with MGE XE's shadows too.

Edit: One issue. The branch of a tree hanging over the wooden walkway to the Seyda Neen lighthouse has collision, which blocks the entire walkway. I had to jump off and walk around it.

Yeah it certainly does, it looks great ingame.

To bad that the screenshots do not show how good it looks ingame.

Helena: you're right, that would be a bit more natural. i'll see if i can fix that for the next version. i always save with maximum amount of mipmaps, maybe i've missed it for some textures, i'll have a look.

povuholo: thanks for reporting that, i'll remove the collision for the branches on that tree.

Those trees look great...but does it interfere with any mods that enlarge Seyda Neen?

richardrocket009: the trees are a bit larger (taller but not wider i believe) so i guess there could be clipping issues. But overall this mod should give the least clipping issues of all my tree mods.

Gorgeous! Now then, my only question is: animations?

No, i've decided against animations for this mod. it looks odd with these trees and its too complex (the trees has more instances of different leaves, moss, branches than my other mods).

That "breathing" animation works ok for 2D leaves but for leaves with visible branches and moss, it looks really off (i tested). I could animate parts of it but it would look unnatural.

Splendid and majestic trees as usual :celebration: .

However, I have some note:
The most of the trunks at their base are too width!
bc_tree_05 at 08 : one sees the space where the 2 meshes of trunks are encased.
bc_tree_02 : it is seen that the branches were added, because they in 2D and are coloured too much compared to the the tree.
bc_tree_05 : the trunk's texture are stretched at a place.

The base of the trunks must be modelled after the default ones (in fact, many are from the default trees) since they sometimes have hand placed containers (tree fungi) attached to them, i can't do anything about them (unless i make my own .esp and remove/hand place those containers myself onto my trunks, but i'm not doing that).

bc_tree_02, yes those branches are probably going to be remade.

And yes there are sometimes seams and stretching, i'm well aware. Not sure i'm doing anything about that either, i've seen way worse in some commercial games ;)

I could spend weeks fixing the uv-mapping to perfection, but i'm afraid that would also completely kill my interest in creating yet another mod hehe
