Yes

EDIT: Well, just the statics. Didn't see a need to regenerate anything else.

Make sure you've ticked all mods (not just mine) when regenerating distant land. Other than that, its hard to say, i would suggest starting a new game and just tick my mods in MGE and in the launcher (dont tick the grass mod in the launcher). Regenerate everything again and test, if works there's a mod interfering somehow, if it doesnt work i would suggest updating your MGE to the latest BETA version (if you havent).

Hi there!

First of all I love your mods, in fact I{m back to morrowind after seven years now and want to use them all, have a problem though. I reasently instaled your groundcover mod and went for the animated version however when I run Morrowind, the grass is there, animated and all, but it{s pitch black all of it, in every region. Looks just fine in the CS though.

Any idea what may be happening?

PD: I have an ATI Radeon 4850. I mention this couse of the problem with ATI cards and MGE{s sun texture. Don{t know if this has anything to do.

PD2: Please forgive me for posting this on this tread belonging to other mod of yours.

Thanks!

it has nothing to do with ATI, both my laptop and stationary has ATI cards. not sure what it could be, you've regenerated land? it sounds like something went wrong there, make sure you ticked it in MGE.

I have an ATI Radeon 4850 too, and I haven't had any issues at all. But I'm not running Vista/7, so I don't get the black sun issue, which is an issue with having an ATI card and Windows Vista/7 OS. That has nothing to do with MGE though.

Ok I{ll try to regenerate land again then and see if that fixes it. hope it does becouse I realy like how your mods make the game look and I want to get them right!

Thanks for the time and trouble!

EDIT: Good news! I wiped out my Textures and Meshes folders and instaled nothing but your groundcover mod and it works just fine so I think that it might have been in conflict with something. As I said i{m trying to get the best textures out there and I must have broke up in the instalation of so many things!

Thanks to you both your help is much apreciated!

v1.1 released (no its not the "Africa theme" version, sorry)

Changes in 1.1:

* Substantially reduced the poly count on many of the trees

* Changed the 2D planes (leaves). The canopies now looks a lot better when you look up into the trees.

* Added many new leafless branches (2D planes) to the trees to make them look more natural.

* Some new textures added or tweaked

* Tweaked collision boxes

Oh great!!!

Do you plan to make a new version of your Ascadian's Isles mod? (because of the bug on the dead bull netches)

Yes after i'm done with the Africa theme of Grazelands (if i'm not bored out of my mind modding MW by then ;) ).

Can't promise i'll make new netches, but i might give it a try, they were a pain to edit.

Those are some neat trees and look at that grass. It's been years since I've followed the Morrowind modding scene but it makes me want to go back and properly play the game again!

Postin' in the proper thread, not to spam the Picci thread.

Vurt, I don't mean that the White Tree or the Sakura one are bad. They just don't fit between all the Hackle-Lo. IMO.

Why don't you make them unique. Add just a few in some nice or soul-full places. Add a few ambient-sounds or scripted effects to it, so that visiting them offers both a visual and a game-wise reward.

Cheers! :obliviongate:

There are 3 white trees in the whole grazelands, 2 infront of that castle (i like those, makes sense to have beautiful trees there) and one in nature (- this one looks a bit off i agree, but they actually do stand out like that in real life too when surrounded by trees that are mostly green, they're flowering, and flowers stands out - it's their purpose in nature after all) ;)

The pink is a litte bit more common, but there's only 10 of them in the whole area (i just checked the .esp to be sure).

If you mean the dark red ones they're not unique and acts as pure replacers (42 of those in the area).

While i do think you're overreacting a bit i'll make a patch with less colorful leaves for the red, pink and white trees.

Not really overreacting, but more bad translation.
I assumed the Grazelands would be littered with them.

In that case Mr. Vurt, keep on planting trees! :celebration:

Lore friendlier texture pack is up

The pine textures looks better with this pack too.. so even if you would like to keep the cherry blossom trees you can update the mod with all textures named canopy-something + you should install the mesh folder as well.

Looking good! I thought the cherry blossom trees looked nice, but I think I'll try out the new textures and see if it all blends in a bit more smoothly. You've really given a unique look to each of my Morrowind regions.

Some of the trees don't work so well with MGE XE's shadows, it seems to draw the trees without the leaves: http://i.imgur.com/w20at.jpg

I don't know if anything can be done about that though. I'm using the lore friendly version.
