Vurt's Grazelands Trees II

Yet another tree replacer for the Grazelands, this time inspired by african trees. Comes with an optional .esp that places coconut palms along the coastline + one additional big tree.

Nice!
This is going to be an option in Morrowind Overhaul with the first patch :)
I'll try it later ;)

Great job Vurt! These look like they jive much more with how the vanilla trees looked (just much, much improved). I think I may do a mix-n-match from Vurt's Grazelands Trees 1 & 2 :)

Will download tonight!

Great work Vurt! I've always wanted an Africa-themed Grazelands replacer so this is very much appreciated.

Thank you for the release! :celebration:

This version is pluginless.. might change if i decide to do some unique trees though.

Thanks for your comments, let me know if there's something you don't like and maybe i can improve it.

Very nice! Like Chesko, I think I like these better than the Japanese ones - the African theme fits in very well with the Grazelands landscape.

I'll try improving the http://www.veeriku.tartu.ee/~ppensa/Acacia1.jpg for the next version, i don't think i nailed their shapes that well at all.

I love how in the screenshots with distant land enabled how large the trees look compared to the building :)

Are you ever going to do a master pack?

the baobab trees are quite tall, you can fly up and stand on their branches and enjoy the view.. just dont fall down ;) i really should do some kind of tree village / house. Would be fun.

I might do a "master pack". If i'm ever satisfied with all my mods (wont happen :D ).

If I was travel with these tree around me I must be dreaming, because I wonder where I would be. In a savannah or I'm one of the regions in Morrowind. :twirl:

The baobabs are a little too tall, me thinks. It all does look fantastic though. Perhaps the trees for the original grazelands pack could be used as a replacer for Tamriel Rebuilt?

And thick. Travel to Vos and from there go along the road to Tel Vos. The baobab occupies the whole width of the road.

Yes, flora_tree_gl_10 could do with scaling down a little. It's about five times the size of all the others.

It's a bit bigger than the other Baobab tree, i didnt want them to be of the same size. But it's kind of it's thing, it's a really majestic tree, visible even in the very far distance, i like that.

Also, if you go out in nature you'll quickly notice that all trees arent of the same size. I know my tall pine trees arent well liked either because they're "too tall", which i really disagree with.. its just how nature looks.

Here are some pics of the Baobab tree if you are unfamiliar with it.. it can be really gigantic:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/23/Adansonia_Grandidieri_Baobab_Morondava_Madagascar.jpg

But i'll shrink it a little, just because it's also very wide, which i guess can lead to problems at some places ;)
