Vvardenfell's the island district of Morrowind. Morrowind's the province.

Oh, ok. I just wish we could've played in all of MW. Do the expansion packs do this?

Tribunal adds the capital city of the mainland, but its not even the whole city. Tamriel rebuilt is a mod that's been working on adding the mainland to the game for a long while now. They got done with the Telvanni portion of the mainland, and I think they're working on the temple lands now. They're doing it secton by section.

EDIT: Just thought of somethiong. Shouldn't it be called TES III: Vvardenfell?

I think the original plan was to include the mainland, but they realized it'd be too much so just scaled it down to Vvardenfel and kept the name.

The Silgrad Tower mod adds (some of) mainland Morrowind.

Doesn't sound snazzy enough.

Same reason why TES 4 wasn't called TES 4: Cyrodiil

Morrowind just rolls off your tongue. Beautiful.

To be more lore specific, Vvardenfell, interestingly is the result of, I think Akatosh, taking the heart of Lorkhan and shooting it into Nirn. Vvardenfell was created when the volcano formed as the crater for the heart's landing. It is a quite fascinating story, in fact. If you would like no know more visit http://imperial-library.info/mwbooks/monomyth.shtml#Altmeri.

And watch the salt shrivel it like a dying slug.

Well, I'd rather not make a whole topic about this. But in reguards with other provinces of Morrowind, is there any information about Tear, and Necrom?

'Districts' of Morrowind; and not too much, only what can be found in the first PGE and the occasional book where they turn up.

(Last Scabbard of Akrash for Tear; Incident at Necrom for Necrom. But both have little to do with their settings)

You see? I understand that everyone who hangs around this forum is a potential know-it-all, with the exception of me(as I feel like the only one not part of the Forum Scholars Guild)
And that post was directed at Mastermind, as I'm aware that anything I say, you guys know.

It's fine. He's watching right now and critiquing everyone's responses on another forum, so he'll get back to me.
