[RELz/Beta] Vvardenfell Imports

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:54 am

So a little heads up,

Looks liek the hoods from slofs robe trader (watcher hoods, brown netch, and netch cloth hood) seem to be glowing (not sure why). Could be something to do with the alpha being enabled.

Might have to replace them with the normal non shadowed hood.

Figured out a fix. Let me know if there are any other bugs (I'm happily surprised everything seems to work) and I'll upload a patch.

Also (this might be a stretch) if anyone feels artistic and wants to post pictures either on this thread or the tesnexus page (I can only post 5) feel free.

I notice that for some helms, I can wear two of them at the same time. How is that possible??

Oh, and the land Dreugh helm doesn't have any collision or havok when dropped.

one is listed as head in the construction set and one is listed as hair. You can make some pretty interesting combinations.

I got a lot of good replies in my construction set thread. I'm going to do a few tests now on just a few things and see if I got this all right.
Damn thanks to this thing I've barely had any time to actually use your mod :banghead:
But in the end it'll be worth it if I can get it to work! Just a little note, anyone wanting to use my esp will need two things, first is Wrye Bash for it's merge leveled lists option, and second, all of the original files.
That being said, it may take a few days to a week to do this because I have to learn how to do it and test it and such. Plus, my girlfriends birthday is on friday and I have to do some stuff for her present.

If only my DVD drive would read my (lightly) scratched DVD, I could reinstall the game and try this out! :brokencomputer: When I get it fixed, I am certainly downloading :)

I think it'd be cool to replace the leveled armor of the Camonna Tong thugs with some of this Morrowind armor. And along with the new Dunmer Hairstyles mod in the works, they'll feel so much more native to Morrowind.

I'm referring to http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Camonna_Tong_Thug Camonna Tong thugs.

So, finally got the mod plugged into OBMM, and it's working great so far. I've tried on most of the armor, and here's the only problems I had:

http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm208/darthjakben/ScreenShot1-1.jpg, and http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm208/darthjakben/ScreenShot2.jpg

I don't know if that's a problem on my end or what, but I'm 100% certain everything installed correctly.

Also, here're some screens. If you like them, feel free to upload them to wherever (though they're not very good. I'll take some more later, and with more armor/effort put into posing).

http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm208/darthjakben/ScreenShot10.jpg, http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm208/darthjakben/ScreenShot11.jpg.

http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm208/darthjakben/ScreenShot7-1.jpg. Also http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm208/darthjakben/ScreenShot6.jpg and http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm208/darthjakben/ScreenShot3.jpg.

That armor is definitely my favorite. Fantastic job.

Edit:

Also (this might be a stretch) if anyone feels artistic and wants to post pictures either on this thread or the tesnexus page (I can only post 5) feel free.

Maybe I will, then.

Thanks Yorp,

I'll upload a patch that fixes the glowing hoods and the textures (I had to repath every armor set so I knew I was goign to miss something).

The daedric, chitin, hircine, and indoril sets were not done by me, just included in the mod to round everything out.

It is pretty sweet. I think the daedric author mcmuffin is going to make the other helms and shields.

You can check the readme if your curious.

Wait, so you included some of the artifacts such as the Dragonbone Cuirass in the mod right? I can't buy it in the shop.

Congratz on release, man!

So? Let the folks at Better Cities worry about that, I'm sure that there are still some unused doors available, or doors that lead to "ahem" less interresting shops or places. If every modder starts taking Better Cities or Unique landscapes into account it will be the death penalty for creativity.

I didn't mean to be insulting, I just like this mod a lot, and if no Compatibility Patch is being made, then I can't play it :( . And that's a shame because it looks so good, all the armors are amazing, and I've been eagerly waiting a long time for this mod. I hope you guys understand that I'm just disappointed.

I must be a noob because I unzipped both files and there doesn't seem to be any esp's, just mesh and texture folders?

Johny, no worries man. :foodndrink:

Try downloading the mod anyway. All the items are in a chest in the testinghall so even if you can't get in the store you can still get all the goods.

Use the mirrors tab at nexus. Sounds like your missing part 2.

Fixes the glowing hoods, missing textures, and updates the readme. Use the mirrors tab for now. Nexus servers are down.

Ok, I'm gonna try using the mod then. I hope it doesn't mess up all of Cheydinhal. Maybe I'll even make a patch myself, if no other skilled modder does. Because I'm not a skilled modder :brokencomputer:

Go for it. If it were me I would probably load open cities after this mod in the load order.
