[RELZ] Vvardenfell Imports (thread 2)

Personally, about adding all this to leveled lists, I don't think it's necessary. Why not just release this as a modder's resource and let others use it for leveled lists and such?

Well I just want to do it to kind of test my modding knowledge. These armors are awesome by themselves without being added to the lists, and if a more experienced modder does get the resources and release it, I'll still work on mine. On a related note, I have some time off of work after Chirstmas so I'll be getting started on it then.
I do agree about releasing them as a resource though.

The mainfile says in the usage section you can do whatever you want as long as you give proper credit.

The addon is obviously off limits, due to slof's work.

This is a fantastic mod. Truly can't wait to see this end up in FCOM somehow.

My one problem has been with the Daedric Lord's Cuirass. When equipped, it just turns our upper body invisible. I suppose that's a texture error but I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.

There are patches for both Vvardenfell Imports and for Vvardenfell Imports Addon and I think installed them in the wrong order. I cannot tell from the upload dates or anything what the order should be so can you clear this up for me please?

Is this correct:

2 big parts from megaupload
then
Vvardenfell Imports Addon includes esp fix
then
Vvardenfell Imports Addon ESP Fix
then (the addon)
Vvardenfell Imports Patch 1
then

hey mercer,

the icons are in part 1 on megaupload so i'm not sure why they'd be missing.

the correct order of download is

part 1 and 2 from megaupload and then the patch 1 (on the mainfile page) and then part 3

then the addon (be sure to overwrite) (only downlaod the esp fix if you already have the addon and downloaded it before 11/24)

if you have open cities you can try using arthmoor's patch which has to be after the vvardenfell imports esp in the load order.

Hope this helps. Once I get around to uploading a final version this should be a lot less confusing.

Sorry for the delay,

That bug should have been fixed in the newer releases. It's a mispathed mesh (I was going to try my hand at daedric flesh armor but I lost the will halfway through, and forgot to switch the daedric mesh back). I can upload a fix for you in a couple days.

Or if you don't feel like waiting search tesnexus for daedric lord armor and mcmuffin's original mod should come up. It has a cool little quest too.

So not only do I have the flu, but my computer caught some crazy virus from a bootleg program I may or may not have installed. So any sort of final vvardenfell import update is going to take a while. Right now I'm trying to back up all my files to a 500gig portable hard drive and then start the mind numbing process of reinstalling xp on a computer built just for vista.

Someone shoot me.

Okay so after a lot of cursing and stomping of feet I have a working computer again and a set of modding programs. Just uploaded a patch for mcmuffin's daedric armor on tesnexus. Thought I had already fixed the mispathed male cuirass mesh but alas, the bug remained.

Also just some quick notes , looks like the addon at tesnexus is really lagging behind the mainfile with downloads. Boo. Not sure why, in my opinion the addon has some of the cooler and more detailed sets (see watcher and redoran champion sets).

VI Mainfile made it to the file of the month list for December! High fives and handpounds for everyone who voted.

I appreciate all the effort. I'll upload the patch to tesnexus for now (pes later).

As far as uploading the files to another site ... Once I finally get around to compiling a final version of the mod I'll upload it to planetelderscrolls and then contact buddah to have it placed on the tesnexus servers.

If you know someone or are someone that knows how to properly merge items into leveled lists please contact me at your convenience. :twirl:

+The main files server for the Knight of The Old Republic disappear and it took many mods that where found nowhere also.

So it seems some users are reporting missing meshes everywhere and they have shivering isles installed. I have no idea what the problem might be. Any ideas?

Well I had one gentleman/lady check to see if the folders were in the right location and the were (the two big ones anyway).

Then, maybe the Shivering isles.esp is not activated. It has to be in order to get those SI files to work.

Okay so, I need a little help solving a problem some useres are having. GOTY is installed, files are in the correct place esp is enabled and there are missing meshes and textures everywhere. And only some users are having this problem. Any ideas?

Sounds like maybe an esp issue?

Maybe the meshes have texture path that has it like C:\Program files\...\textures... and the user have oblivion installed at some other location?
But that wouldn't cause missing meshes, only textures or invisible items.

Great Mod, but the OP says that there is meant to be a khajit selling things in the secret room (I've only just seen that bit. I found it and thought it was a store room and started stealing stuff), however there isn't anyone down there. Am I missing something?

Yeah sounds like it. Try downloading the addon (check the description tab of the mainfile) and see if that makes him appear.
