VWD Fire

Hi all,

i want to do the following:
to have proper lighthouses that can be used with the sailing ship mod, i wanted to make the fire on top of anvil lighthouse VWD.

first i extracted the fire mesh (FireOpenLarge.nif), renamed it to FireOpenLarge_far.nif, put it in the relevant subdirectory (Data/Fire/meshes) and flagged the Anvil fire in the CS as visible when distant and wrote it to Lighthouse.esp.

I tried to regenerate the LOD with Tes4qlodGUI for the Lighthouse.esp and worldspace "Tamriel" but it does not show up ingame.

Any idea how to do that ? I might have used Tes4QLod wrongly, so maybe somebody can help me out.

Not surprising that it doesn't work :] As VWD objects can't have animations, particles, havok, billboard nodes, and other fancy stuff. And fire model "violates" all these rules :]
For VWD models you need to use the most simple static meshes and the only feature those can have are... textures ;]
