Hi!

I was wondering what will happens if during the quest "You can count on me" you decide to hand over the Gun Runners secret gun manufacturing processes to the Crimson Caravan leader Alie McLafferty?


It is rumored that completing the optional 4th step of this quest will affect the availability of certain items from the Vendortron at the Gun Runners kiosk, can anyone confirm or deny this?


i want to have the opportunity to have access to all weapons!


I couldn't find any definitive proof on the Wiki, so i figured i would ask it here!

any other repercussions i should know about?

You have the option to NOT do that part of the quest, so i was wondering if it would make me more evil to give the specs? I'm playing as a good character and would hate to become vilified!


I know i can always just save the game and then try both ways, but cmon! this forum HAS to have some people who have done this quest!

I doubt it effect item on Gun Runner Vendor; on the other hand I found more stuff available to the Crimson Caravan vendor.

I kept this quest open on the Gun Runners part. I'm not sure exactly what happens if you turn in the downloads either.

The guide doesn't specify the outcome, besides fame with the CC.

CC rep would be gone if you kill McLafferty for Cass (by gone I mean disapper).

O, and sometimes GR would found out about it and turn hostile..........so Dealing with Contreras first.

I did exactly that: Sold the gunrunners manufacturing specifications to Alice McLafferty then blew her away with a silenced sneak shot when nobody was looking. It didn't effect CC rep but I'm not sure if it has an effect on the manufacturing specifications outcome.

ive done dis and nothing happened, the vendetron sells the same items plus i think Blake gets his inventory upgraded.Blake is a guy that sells stuff inside The Crimson Caravan Company. and u dont loose any rep hopes dis helps :foodndrink:

I believe if you turn in the specs without anybody knowing about it, if you do Cass' quest the peaceful way then you'll get an ending that states that the gun runners helped kill the caravans carrying Alice and Gloria who lost their positions. Sweet revenge indeed.

i have decided to try and sneak into the gun runners base, just because i like the challenge!

i will sneak in at night when everyone is sleeping, ninja style, and wil be out before the guards return form shift change!

i have no idea. the vendortron didnt change and for some reason blake never gets a new inventory (he even still has everything ive ever sold him) so i dunno if he upgrades

I know that bug. Let wednesday come around in game with no loading between load and then. There's a bug that crops up from time to time apparantly, where when you load the game, it sets it to sunday, thus preventing all vendors from restocking.
