Wait... A Day Early?! :D

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 3:29 pm

About to be on a plane headed for Sydney and I realized I can get the game (preloaded on my desktop and laptop) tomorrow at 9am my time (that is, my relative "awake time.") I... but... WHAT

*does jig*

And I don't even have to work until the day after tomorrow!

:o

Oh, sorry.

If it's any consolation, immediately after I posted this I got an email saying the company we were contracting with suddenly decided to use a local contractor and that I didn't need to go. Very common.

So. Karma for bragging.

Well, i wouldn't be surprised if the timer is corrected tomorrow. For me it would 4 in the morning of Tuesday (UTC+2). I don't remember any game ever releasing at such time before.

Are games known to come a day early if preordered? Most games I've preordered have. Skyrim did. I didn't consider Fallout 4 to be the case because everyone seems certain that it'll arrive on release day. Is it not common for them to be delivered early?

Physical copies of games can often arrive early. I have had no end come a day or two early from Game in the UK.

Unfortunately I have to wait for steam to unlock my preload. If the timer is right, it will work out 1:00am (Gmt) Tuesday.
