Dogmeat is just a dog, not a werewolf (or other lycan-possibilities).
Dogmeat is just a dog, not a werewolf (or other lycan-possibilities).
Wolf falls into the canine family
Well anyway don't take this as fact but apparently their may be a perk that allows you to control Dogmeat directly, so you can "wolf out" that way
That's not a life state though... Controlling another character =/= life state... You just controlling another character. Your character is still a normal human being and nothing more. And Dogmeat (or whatever his name is in Fallout 4) is still a normal dog and nothing more.
Yeah but isn't that like saying to Bethesda "no more vampires or werewolves, fed up with the Twilight references"
???
With the exception of the Animal Friend perk
"You know nothing, Jo--yeah you get it"
RACIST!
Its only good karma if they are ferals.
Seriously though, I'm kinda creeped out by all ghouls (also zombies, so ferals especially make my skin crawl) and for that reason Charon always got a power armor helmet. Still I would welcome the chance to have a ghoulified protagonist, simply for the hopefully unique playthrough as you struggle through the storyline dealing with the racial hatred of the smoothskins.
Also if ghoulification is in the game, maybe one day the ultimate..........a super mutant playthrough.
Just to clarify, I was talking about shooting feral ghouls!
Just to clarify, your clarification I was joking about the racist thing.....all feral ghouls must die, preferably by a head shot.
Its weird that althrough I was creeped out by the ghouls in fallout, I always ended up helping them, apart from the tenpenny ghouls after the first time they betrayed my trust.
I was always best buddies with Gob, even though he would call me a drunk every time I bought stimpaks
I always loved Ghouls, and played one in Fallout 3 and New Vegas thanks to mods. It would be really awesome of this was possible.
I would not put to much faith in player made chart until we get a full and complete list from bethesda.
They aren't going to add a perk that would turn the players into ghouls. Why is that?
If they added both of these in, I can see them doing it. But at the same time, the ghoul population would cease to exist... at least the non-feral population.
A cure seems really far fetched. There are things that happen to ghouls...just look at them...no magic injection or medicine is going to regrow your skin except massive amounts of skin grafts...your biology is shot...not to mention your body has been so altered by exposure to radiation...since you don't have to fear it as a ghoul...A complete reversal would probably leave you looking like one of the skinny swamp people from Point Lookout more than what you once were.
The best "cure" is merely developing ways to cope and manage the condition other than a bullet.
Not necessarily, apparent immortality has its perks after all.
Saying that they aren't going to add a feature is a bit presumptuous, especially without any evidence to prove why they wouldn't. To suggest that it is unlikely, however, is another matter.
The fact is, as this is a feature that has been requested by fans of the series for a very long time, and has even been featured in a number of mods for Fallout 3 and New Vegas, the likelihood of it's inclusion increases significantly. Also, not understanding how a feature will be implemented is not reason enough for it to be excluded.
All perk descriptions from my thread have been used with full permission. Also, the site, as well as my thread, clearly states that all details are still speculation. I think that some people are confusing the fact that the descriptions are all very detailed, rather that being full of holes and contradicting each other. Confidence in research is not the same thing as being misleading, especially when the word speculation has been included in a way that is impossible to miss.
Sorry lol, I'm currently multi-tasking, and I was meant to quote the same person that you did
I was discussing this with gkk7z on the other thread dealing with this and I suggested that the ability to make a human like androids could as a by-product allow ghouls skin and muscle to be replaced by the synthetic counterparts allowing a 'cure', throw in the ghoul medical research team and you could have an actual cure for ghoulism.
I'm not completely sold on the theory but I do find it interesting.
